  1. Awww you folks take great pictures I totally lack the shutter bug gene. If I manage to get a nice picture it's completely pure luck... ok going to try this weekend.

same here haha. These pictures are already killing it, feel like I shouldn't even submit one [emoji23]

  2. I'm putting out some feelers for my AIO tank. I listed it as a trade item a few weeks back but didn't find a trade that panned out. I recently picked up a JBJ 45 so I don't need this one anymore. I am not sure who the maker is but the acrylic is about a 1/2 if I remember. I spent about 5 hours sanding the viewing panels and buffing them so they are pretty clear. I did miss a few of the larger scratches but they should come out with some heavier sanding. No stand, just the tank and return pump. I am open to trades for a nice LED unit for the JBJ or a medium sized sump for the frag tank. Let me know what you have!

    $175 obo

Dimensions are 20" front to back 38"wide. 16.5" tall

  3. Well the SB reef light is still not hear. But I'm the mean time, broke out the GoPro and took sum underwater videos and pictures of the zoas in the blue lighting. Don't mind the algae, it stays mostly on the acrylic walls and PVC so I'm ok with that. All the SPS and zoas look happy and it's not my display so like a wise man once said "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

  6. I had this happen in my zoa tank. I took a razor blade and carefully "cut out" the polyps I didn't want in the colony. I've had almost all the cuts survive too :) It's not a fool proof way of separating the zoas/palys though. Part of the paly mat will still be there, so it may grow back. That's what keeps happening to me.

    Good luck!

  7. Also just order a new LED layout board from SB reef lights so we will see how that performs when it gets here. Need to replace the LEDs in my old reef star. I'll let you guys know what I think when I get my hands on it!
