    I found out to heat my 180 reef tank to 82 i was spending about 300-400 a year in electricity. Thats how i found out how much it was running me, the heater was costing me way more then even my LED lights,

    thats just the temp i have always ran it at but didnt realize until recently the amount it was costing me.

    I was just wondering which people suggest heating the main tank or heating the sump? i keep my tank heated to about 80-82 and its been costing me a fortune just to heat the tank so im trying to find a way to cut the cost a little bit without heating the room to that level (room is usually 65).

    I have some candy cane, some duncan and possibly some torch coral if interested (waiting to frag the torch until i find ppl interested in some of it), also have some frog spawn.

    I was wondering if anyone knows a good way to repair scratches on an acrylic tank i got a 55 gal and have been trying the wet-sand paper of 1500 grain, and then polish but i think im just creating more scratches. any help would be appriciated.

    So im not sure where you are located but in Hillsboro one of my friends is part owner of a fish store and rescue where they take in fish that people dont want anymore and then sell them for about half what retail is. its called ATK aquatics on Cornell in Hillsboro Oregon
