I want to buy the innovative marine ghost skimmer, desktop model. I'd rather buy it used instead of paying full price for it. But if all else fails I'll buy it new. If anyone has one they are willing to sell or trade for I would be open. I have a hydor slim skim for my larger setup I can trade. I just want a small skimmer that fits in my new Nuvo 10 gallon. Purchased the black sand from petco and it's amazing. It looks great with the lights, it looks natural and I barely had to rinse it. tank was clear within a few minutes after pouring it in.

I'd like to be able to monitor my temperature, heater failure, something to control my lights and send me mobile updates or alarms. So I think the apex jr would be a good start for the smaller system I have. So if anyone has a used system that wants to sell it let me know! I know it's unlikely but worth a shot to see if anyone has one available.

I was considering buying an apex jr new or used for my aquarium since it is "entry" level and ive never used one before. Any opinions? Used controllers? or reviews?

I am definitely an addict. I had many more but I had a bad algae problem and smothered a bunch of them out! But its all cleaned up now so I'm going to start up again! Plus I am starting up another tank! nice to be back into the hobby again.

Maybe Ill start dosing it and taking photos to show if there is any progress. I'm just curious to see if it has noticeable effects. Thanks for the responses everyone! keep them coming if you have any.
