  1. It most likely came from poor water quality. Prob from your LFS. I've seen it occur mainly in systems with poor water quality. Fish could have had an existing condition and then when you moved them over the bacteria just took over the vulnerable fish. Something I see commonly in the fish hatchery I work in. But certain snails are good hosts for certain bacteria. There is a possibility the bacteria could had came with the snails. But no way to tell for sure. I would just do good water changes and see if they recover.

I have an iphone and have no use for it. Barely used.

I want $150 bucks for it, or 100 bucks and 50 dollars worth of coral frags. an amazing deal for a watch that was originally 300!

  4. You could try using an air stone with very fine bubbles. Fine bubbles are better for gas exchange. But then again you might get some small air bubbles in the tank. I know that Nuvo is small for a skimmer so you could place the stone away from the pump in the far chamber.

  5. Sorry to de-rail the typical response BUT...

24x48x8 Hydroponics tray: $35 at most "indoor" grow stores choose from black or white, best tank investment I ever made.  If you put it in a wood frame you can insulate the bottom and sides, I also made a quick acrylic cover.  No glass to clean, the sides just grow coraline.  You get faster velocity flow since it's only 25 gallons, and PAR is quite lovely in the first 6 inches of water depth, why waste light...  I have my return nozzles oriented to minimize surface disturbance and use a wave maker on a 6hr OFF timer when cutting frags, or working in the tank.

Here are some random pics, I've ran this setup for 2-1/2 years now.
