IME, hybrid may not be necessary anymore if using LED fixture 2 years old till current.
In the past T5 supplementation used for more coloration and avoiding shadow effect and growth because not enough royal blue in the fixture.
Most of uptodate LED Fixture design consist of enough royal blue, more so compare to the older unit so T5 supplementation no longer needed.
For aesthetic purpose adding T5 will be a great enhancement.

Very good information Rudy. Do you have a link to the previous "nutrients" posting?

The discussion is on his personal facebook page, there is a good video Q&A about nutrients and elements in his profile page

Mike Palleta is a great friend for many years.
In this series of research and discussion he will discus the role of major & minor elements, lighting, and additives to grow
coral with vivid coloration.

Lighting is critical part of aquarium equipment.
The trade off is may be corals that could not grow well or dying if you don't have proper lighting set up.
You could loose corals and end up costing more for not having proper lighting.
If you know your budget try to get the best bang for the money and adding more later on.
Buying the same brand and adding more unit is the best way of doing it, make a plan to complete within 6 months for example, buying another unit per 2 months
if you need 3 units.
In the mean time stock the tank with corals that will work for the initial lighting set up then expand as you add more lighting
Happy reefing!

they apparently use a modified (low volume) version of the Clippard in the Carbon Doser regulators so these should work well. I rebuilt one recently so had to dig into it a bit. I can't confirm the "custom" aspect of the aquariumplants.com part but ended up getting it from them just in case as it wasn't that much more money. Would be curious though if anyone used one of the standard Clippard parts to try and rework one of those units or build their own electronic controlled version (basically just tying one of these to a timer chip). Seems like someone in this crowd must have gone there 😁

Nice build, I was using some chrome brass connectors and showing oxidation fast. Stainless connector part is the way to go.
I use digital solenoid like this one, very low amp 12vdc solenoid so didn't get hot at all

I may be wrong, but I believe diesel is always exempt from the self service prohibition. I think the law only refers to gasoline.
Also, am I the only one that had the logic of this lost on them? I don't care about pumping my own gas, but how is it more sanitary to have everyone touching the pump instead of just the workers? I didn't actually read the article, but I heard on the radio it's more about not having enough workers. So maybe nothing to do with sanitation Guess we're all screwed either way. Oh well!

You are always working hard and you make it look easy. Quick question it says pick a delivery date. Are you shipping only with the Covid precautions or is store pick up available ? Just maybe have to stay in the car and have someone run it out ?
Yes local pick up available. I will bring the coral outside for quick grab

I use Kessil A series mounting arm for my tank at show.
I modded the fixture to be able to hang with the kessil arm.
Kessil mounting arm is adjustable height and adjustable front to back to center the fixture.
It is another option that readily available with some modification.
