I have a few sponges that are starting to get a little out of control. One is yellow and sort or bulbous, the other is white and just grows in one layer over the rocks. I haven't worried about them, but they are starting to crowd some of my zoas.
Is there a good way to remove them? I pulled out one of the rocks to scrape of one of them, but the entire bottom of the rock was pretty much covered, so I'm sure it would just come back. Has anyone ever picked up a sponge eating nudi, then passed it on once the sponges were gone?
I can't figure out what they are even feeding on. I feed everything in the tank with a skewer, so there's almost no extra food waste.

I definitely lucked out with this guy. Only a few days in the tank and he's eating clam and scallops off a skewer.

Just two for now. I fragged them on accident.

Ha! You could give those yumas away for years. They'll just keep popping back up anyway.

An emerald crab tool care of my bubble algae in no time. It also went rogue and started eating coral. But some people keep them without problems.

I'm looking for frags of garf bonsai, 500$ efflo, and red planet.
Let me know what you have. Thanks!

Other than top offs, just half gallon water changes every few weeks.

If you can't find a light, the current orbit marine led is pretty sweet for shallow tanks like yours.

I don't think it'll be an issue. I have had a spec 2 running for almost 2 years with no real problems. Tiny tanks are great because maintenance takes 5 minutes.

Nice! I love these little tanks. Are you modding it at all?
-
I'll take the aqualifter.

Put me down for the cleaner shrimp too.

The 25 is no joke! I have one on my 40b. I keep it on else mode and low speed, any more than that and I end up with a sand storm. Awesome powerhead though!
