  1. Time to get rid of a few things that I no longer need

60 gallon Marineland cube and stand. It needs new silicon as it has a leak, will also need a good cleaning. lets go with free to the first one to buy something else (if you want it).

VORTECH MP10QD QUIETDRIVE about a year old but it was on my tank when it leaked and is now throwing a fault (blinking red light). it wont work on my new tank so im not going to bother trying to fix it. $75

Custom built sump (wannareef) about 2 years old i think its 36x16, 3 chamber with a 7 inch sock holder. $80

reef octopus biochurn 120  pellet reactor $60

Kessil A160WE Tuna Blue with goose neck used for less than a year $180

     24 inch ATI 4 bulb $180

  3. I picked up a Reefer 350 today

    IMG_0241.JPG

I’m reusing most of the equipment off of my old tank.

    Equipment-

    Tank- Red Sea Reefer 350

    Return- Eheim COMPACTON 3000

    Heater- 300W Eheim Jager

Skimmer- Reef octopus classic 150int 6”

    Controller- Reef keeper light

Lights- to be determined, I love my ATI but it’s only 24”. I really don’t want to drop the cash on a new fixture. so I was thinking about that in the center with a kessil a160 on each side... I would only have to get ahold of one kessil. Thought?

    Livestock -

    Fish - I don’t have a long list here.

    Purple tang

    Flame hawk

    Maybe a snowflake eel

    Some other stuff

    Coral

Mostly going to be Zoas, Euphyllia and Some “easy” SPS.

I’m thinking about going bare bottom.

  4. Just scrolling through this it looks like 80% of us either grow/ sell weed or work on software.......

I design and support ERP (enterprise resource planning) software for food manufacturers. I don’t actually write code but mostly help to translate business needs.

  5. So long story short I was on day 2 of a 2 week trip to Florida when I found out that the silicon on my tank had sprung a leak and drained 30 or 40 gallons into my living room.

I walked my brother through setting up a old 55 I had in the garage but its not pretty, a lot of white skeletons... That being said probably 40% of the coral is still at least somewhat alive.  its not pretty ugly and has some algae but if you can come get it its all yours.

    fish (that are left)

    yellow tang

    2 clowns

coral not sure whats alive and whats not

    tons of zoas

    torch

    frogspawn

    green slimer

    purple monti

    green monti

    red planet

    acans

    plate

my nem split so now there is two

a ton of other stuff, its not pretty but free is a good price. I would definitely not take it straight to your display so if you have room in a QT tank come and get it. i would prefer to give it all to one person and then drain it.

im keeping all the equipment and rock.

some pic of what it looked like before i left as you can see i was fighting an algae outbreak which was intensified after the transplant.

  6. Unfortunately I pulled the plug on the frag tank, just didn’t have time. That being said it’s time to get rid of some stuff, $300 everything listed. Im also open to trades.

Nuvo 30L in great shape with media baskets, return pump and two spin streams- $200

Osmolator Nano 3152 Auto Top Off- $40

Current marine led 24-36 inch used for about 8 months -$50

Reef octopus skimmer, I believe it's a bh-50 but missing the hang on bracket hence the sip tie . $50
