The sales guys at Rapid Led should be able to answer that question, but if it was me i would certainly acclimate them. How high of you water does the fixture sit? I would be concerned with the corals within 12-16" of the LEDs.

My frag is sitting at one main one with 2-3 smaller and possible 3-4 baby babies.

Jesse i have had problems like you are describing when my Alk was sitting around 7.5, once i started dosing and able to keep it stable at 8.25ish things have been much more under control. If life gets busy and i start to notice lack of EP or bleaching more likely then not my Alk is too low. From what i have seen with regards to your pictures, i don't see RTN but i haven't read every single post, there is a lot of hot air on this thread! I have had plenty of RTN and tissue actually peels off.

Here's my August entry, cutting it close! Finally got some growth b/c of my new LEDs, Jesse watch out!

Central AC with cabinet doors wide open and fan on high. Low is 78.4 and high 80.4. No need for ice bottles yet!

With regard to the skimmer, i have had to raise mine to the upper limit in my sump and i was able to control it much better. I also went thru a PE problem and ended up finding a hydrophoria that had forgotten about in my sump and was slowly dying and releasing toxins. I had to change out my carbon 2x/wk as compared to every 2-3 weeks. Small water changes would help for about 3-4 days but then the PE issue would show back up. Just my two cents

Alright so here is my posting for this month. It's really hard to hold the camera and hold this heavy frag at the same time... I figured I would let the next growth photo be the tell tale of who's going to win. Now I just have to keep this thing alive and I've got it in the bag so far. Unless someone has been secretly growing another frag (whistle)

Tricks of the trade are your LED's! My tank is growing great with them now!!! It took about a month and 98% of everything LOVES my new LED's!

You can tell pretty easily which pictures are mine and which ones are kims...DOH! I wish I had that kind of growth on it.
