The clowns are paired well now after the initial bullying, and thank goodness the clown is ok after a nice stint on my carpet. My first tank I had about a year and a half, never covered it and no clown commited suicide, only difference was that was a nano cube and this is a 20L

I bought them already, was thinking about just cutting them and making an L peice and glueing so the plastic does not sit on the other side, so that may work

Very nice tank and rock scape, I've always liked the look of shallow cubes, gives the fishing room

I don't think its an issue with the type of clowns as much as it is with how high the water line sits on my custom build, I have about another 1/2" I can lower the baffles, but I have to shut everything off remove the silicone, lower and resilicone, not looking foreword to it lol, but even to fit the screen I may have to

Thanks Higher I am gonna do just that, I was thinking of using gutter guard for the top and those screens for the sides. What are they sitting on top of to keep them on top?

[language filter], more work on my tank, clowns are assholes too, I bought a much smaller clown to put in so they would be ok, and after a few days of bullying they where ok, but now that he jumped and is showing weakness the bigger clown is bullying worse than ever!

Anyone else have trouble with them jumping? I already had one die and his replacement jumped out, I think I saved him but not sure yet, is this common?

20L Rimless The Rim is easy to get off, time consuming but with a Razor it comes off. The edge was pretty clean, a little sharp but nothing to worry about, you could dremel the edge if needed. The Return hole i actually drilled myself, I bought a 1" diamond bit off Amazon for about $6 it did a good job, I used plumbers putty to make a water pond around the hole i drilled, it's pretty easy to drill glass http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000TYIWUW/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1413931310&sr=8-3π=SX200_QL40 Yea I am making a real stand later, I want to make it oversized to fit a bigger tank I will get in the future, hAvnt figured that part out yet though.

20L Rimless Yea they can drill cutouts and drill holes for you it was $15, not bad. They did tell me there was no guarentee though, there is always a small chance the glass can crack, but the did a great job and it turned out great

It wasn't rimless when it started I did that part myself, then went to gresham glass and has them cut a place for the external overflow baffles pretty cheap way to get a rimless tank $20

I got a 20l Rimless and a 10 gal for the sump $1 a gallon at Petco, did the plumbing and its dead silent! Getting back into the hobby, trying to keep costs down on startup, looking for 20 lbs of live rock for a $1 - $1.50 a lb thanks Rich

I have 39 pounds of live rock with coraline, about 15 different kinds of coral a starfish and a shrimp for whoever wants it, first to come get it gets it, I just took my tank down and put it in buckets, just moved and have no energy to set it back up rivht now There are some nice tyree pieces big hammer coral big frogspawn and a bunch of miscilanious pieces free is a very good price call 503-380-2326 need it gone now...

Cadlight 39g signiture series With cabinet and Cree LED's $500 This is a steal considering its $1050 for the tank and stand http://www.cadlights.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=41&products_id=214 The cree LED's are 20 3 watt cree's 10 blue and 10 White I paid $319 for the light alone......
