to help prevent the fish from getting sick when you put it back into the display tank. you need to take every fish out and put them into QT. that way the ich in the display tank dose not have a host so intern they will die off. this can take up to 4 weeks for all the ich in the tank to go through there life cycle. so be patient! lol that whats they teach us in my fisheries techniques class in college.

i would love to get a two black and white ocellaris clownfish

i have a really nice maxima clam i am thinking about trading for some nice sps or reef safe fish and invertebrates.

it about 2.5 inches and really healthy i paid 60 bucks for it at SWF so would like to get a equivalent trade.

there is the pet works in astoria that has saltwater. if you are going Hw30. they have good healthy stuff most of the time

at one point i had an aquarium by my bed. and i was doing a water change but some how i got distracted and walked away and the end of the siphon fell on my bed and siphoned about 20 or so gallons of water on my bed. so that's suck had to buy a new mattress.

get a sharp razor and cut the abyssal threads as close to the glass as you can, be very careful if you cut the abyssal opening the clam will be a goner most likely.

the other day i went out and got a bucket of kent sea salt and did a few water changes and i think that got my water chemistry back to where it should be. here it is

salinity : 1.025

temp : 77 F

alk : 10 dKH

calc : 450 ppm

phosphate : 0

nitrite : 0

nitrate : 0

mag : 1200

what do you think?
