They are a modifed sponge filter with a loofa like material. When you combine sponge filter parts and material' date=' its not that bad of an idea. I wouldnt put just a loofa into my tanks. It would be a nitrate/phosphate sink.[/quote']

 

My first thought when I saw this was it looks like a loofa material and can't be good for the tank, but I do like the idea behind it.

You can get them for a dollar at Ross and the DollarTree...it actually seems like a good idea. They even come in all those designer colors! Scam on $.50 worth of pvc and a scrunchee scrubber...took me awhile to see the price...holy cow!! 20 bucks!!!! geez...

Well those were Seafoam palys in my biocube just a different morph.

Cool, we have a new type of seafoams everyone...well call them emerald foams? They really did morph into a nice almost emerald green.

They look like seafoam palys to me

No they are right under some seafoams and those are really blue.

Can't see it as well in the pic, but you can see it. The sea foams are more blue.

Maybe any chance you have a RBTA? If not that's cool, than I'll tank the green one and I'll make it a good size chunk.
