Got a large Pavona colony from a pal...it looks like a softie but apparently is an SPS. What light levels does it like? How high in the tank??
What flow???
If you all give me the correct answers you might all share in the frags soon!!

While you're getting the dimensions you might speak to him about his price??!!!! Sounds like I could re-create the system new (less livestock) for close to what he's asking!
As an ex-retailer....I would bet money that most of the cost of the items that are donated by our sponsor retailers...especially hard goods....was donated to them by their suppliers just for that purpose. It's also a nice write-off to the advertising expenses!
I was in the floor covering business, and if I had an opportunity to showcase a product in a public forum....such as Street of Dreams...Parade of Homes...etc..etc...maunfacturers would either comp the product to me or give it to me at a small fraction of it's original wholesale cost....just for the exposure! Or send my wife and I to Timbukto on their dime for 5 days!
Go ahead suppliers...flame me!
ReefFlo has amazing service! I purchased a Snapper 18 for my first tank....was slightly noisy....they sent another....overnight at their expense mind you...it was noisy. They had gotten in a bad batch of impellers. As my system and sump was already plumbed for a Snapper length pump...and no more room was available...they custom made a Dart w/ the AO Smith motor....shipped it the following day...OVERNIGHT AT THEIR EXPENSE....and included call tags and labels for the original 2 pumps. The real kicker was they charged me the same for the Dart as the Snapper.
That...to me...is way beyond "above and beyond" service.
Something that will amaze you about ReefFlo pumps....visit Garrett's place and see the massive system he's running with just one Barracuda!! Must have 40' or more of combined head...and good flow!!!
The problem is solved in Salem pretty much. I've found Garrett to be cheaper than anything I've wanted to order online in the way of dry goods. And for fish, inverts, food and corals.....we already know he's got great product at honest pricing.
And the only person in the area who I trust for the "correct answer". Sully's gone!
I got about 100 lbs of her rock...started the tank mid-May. No SPS yet...but shrooms, rbta's, blasto, acans. zoo's, torch and green star polyp growing like weeds! That rock has about every color of coralline imaginable!
If you have a scale we could have a "how much does it weigh" pool. $5 a guess...winner take all(after beer and other misc. moving expenses for the volunteer crew of course)!!!!!
Score #1.....J Adams of this forum needed to disassemble his frag tank, so I scored a trio of clownfish(been together for 2 years), and pair of large Chromis and a load of corallimorphs and zoas...and RBTA's. Thanks for the deal Mr. Adams! I feel like a thief!
Score #2. a 30 gal cube....10 gal sump....pumps...40 #'s of rock....Aqualight Pro 24" fixture, Squid....all for $150! Just add sand and saltwater!
So....anenome/clownfish tank is a reality....looking good!
I know....some of you are gonna whine to see some pics.....be patient!
