Hey thanks! The spots went away the next day. I'll start the garlic ongoing. Appreciate the response.
  5. my yellow eye'd kole tank - been in the tank about 3 weeks. Came home tonight and there's a white spot in the middle if it's forehead. looks like there's a raised white speck in the middle. here's the best pick I could get - it's swimming, eating and acting normal. parasite that the cleaners will take care of?? thanks.
  6. Whole heartedly agree - he's been a tremendous help getting my tank going. Only downside is he's between work and home and it's WAY to tempting and easy to drop by
  7. Actually is a 14Gal. They don't make a 12. Want this out of my hall. Make an offer, didn't think $120 was too much but I could be wrong. Going to break it down and in the next few days if no interest. Thanks.
  8. Thanks for the great advice. Rock was easily accessible so I too ca2or suggestion and scrapped the bad boy off - he is no more........... Hopefully
  9. don't have any joe's juice - any of the lfs have it?
  10. found this guy tonight sticking out between two rocks.... closes when it's touched. Mojano's are more colorful (or so I thought) and it's not pinkish like aptasia... any thoughts? Thanks!
  11. Picked this up from R-3 a few months back and just upgraded the tank to a 30g (moved all rock and livestock over to new tank). Still in great shape and I've added the biocube skimmer. Selling the tank w/ hood, stand, sand and skimmer for $120. I'll throw in the Rio i use in there for extra flow as well. l've had it running since I moved everything so the sand is still in great shape. Thanks! - Matt
  12. hey, no worries - tomorrow's great I'll pm ya my info.
  13. ok fine - I'll put this up on Craigslist next but in the spirit of passing on good deals and the fact I want my garage back.... Come and get it, free - take it, use it for something productive - which it's not now. If you have a few frags, that would be great - I don't have a lot seein' as how I entered this hobby only a few months back. - M
  14. OK - so it's not just mine they're like my kids - one minute you wanna wring their neck and the next they do something quite endearing. anyway - they let me in the tank last night without issue - just hung back and watched. Female found refuge behind the rock and comes out every once in a while to check out what's going on. the male has found comfort in using the green torch as an anemone and hangs out just swimming through it, burying himself in it...etc(he hadn't done this before. We'll see how it goes, Thanks for all the recommendations and comments! - M
  15. Thanks all. Here's a quick pic of their new diggs. I'll get some more up later but does this look like enough or should i build it up a bit more?
  16. Just curious. So I started a couple months back in Saltwater buying a 14g tank w/ a Mature Male and Female Ocellaris. Man these guys are aggressive - my FW tank I can have my hand in there all day and the fish come to me. These guys will bite me within seconds and they beat the hell out any new fish I try to introduce (they for some reason have let a firefish in though), and some corals (ripped apart a xenia I had bought), and inverts (I saw one running around with a peppermint shrimp in it's mouth). So, I figured could be a number of things - small tank, no anemone, stressed out or just plain mean... I did just upgrade the tank to a 27G so they have more room now but even tonight, I put a couple new astrea snails for a bit bigger clean up crew and they were striking the shells. I need to move a few things around but they don't make it easy AT ALL. Is this normal for these clowns? I thought ocellaris were a bit more calm - LOL I'd like to introduce a goby and/or something else small but hesitant at this point. Thanks. Matt
  17. oh and I'm running Spektrum Dx6i and AR6100's. I like them enough, the brown out's on the receiver when full stick have caused me to go down more than once and than sucks. BEC's on both heli's now and now issues. The Align 450pro I custom built, has a CC 50amp ESC, Scorpion Motor and Hitec Digital MG Cyclic Servos, Futaba 9650 for the tail.
  18. jrock4224 - I'm down to 3 heli's right now Align 250SE and a 450 Pro Flybarless. love the 250, I can run it into wall and it's cheeeep to fix 450 Pro I'm battling the Flybarless all the time. It's awesome when it's running but a serious PIA when you take a digger in the ground and have to eliminate all the vibrations. Flybarless is a killer on the head and servos. been flying ~3 years, say I'm intermediate - loops, roles, inverted flying, flips all that kind of stuff. I fly em hard but wreck hard too, never get use to that! Sold my MSR and my kids fly the MCX.
  19. My brother an I fly RC Heli's. I know his boys do cars though so I'll see if they have something.
  20. Would love to clear this out this weekend - will lower to $100
