reactor 49g corner with a Eheim pro 2 ( 2 gallons ) so, 51 ish. Evap= roughly 2 gals every 3 days. I am topping off 1-1.5 inch evap using a 5 gallon water jug and guessing the aount. I can get precise over the next week if it will help. Thanks for q's

reactor I top off 1" every 3rd day 36" canopy 2 ros actinics and 250w MH 8-10" off the surface. I have a 12" deep x 10" tall x 10" wide space above my canister if I built a shelf to hold one.. or behind and outside the cabinet 8x8x? tall (whistle)

I also have recently had my Royal gramma showing signs of Ich. 9 days ago left for SanDiego and turned off skimmer, was worried about overflowing onto carpet while gone. House sitter called and said fish were dying. Clay came over and adjusted Korlias to face upward and aggitate surface ( canister filter was not performing well...bought a new one since). We came home and next day 1 of 3 fish that survived had Ich. Seemed to be happy for first day and then spent 4 days rubbing itself or scratching on the rocks during treatment. I used Seachem reef complete and it either seemed to work in a fw days or the fish just worked it's way through it. I am only a newbee, but I have came to the conclusion that all tanks have Ich. They may not shows the aggrivated signs of it on the fish and in most cases the Ich is in the fish's gills , but just not showing signs until the fish becomes stressed. Other healthy fish may not get it unless they are also stressed due to the same condition that caused #1 fish to show signs or stressed from #1 fish being aggitated. Thats my story....and I'm sticking to it.

Hey all, thanks for the props!! Yeah, PDX isn't nothing like making 3 stops in eugene! From Lake Oswego through PDX ( 3 stops) , stopping in Beaverton and then back down to meet Kilmca on I-5 it was a type A driving faster than the GPS could keep up, saturday traffic nightmare. I don't know how you all do it?!! GREAT reefers. It's always worth it to meet new people and check out new ideas.
