Mines at 1.026, water changes 20% every other week, no dosing, overskimming, lots of fish.

+1 on RV hose, it's made to drink from. It is white and most of the time has a blue stripe. The guys here at Guaranty in the Rv department say it comes in 25' lengths. I can purchase them for $10 each...$30 to make a 75 foot run. Let me know.

PH drops when the lights go out. Reversing the light cycle evens out the effect on PH.

Set your timer on the sump to come on when the display lights go out and sump light off when display comes on. You will not have a heavy swing in PH when the light cycle is stable and consistant.

Algae in the sump is a good thing and thats where you want to keep it. I would run a reverse light cycle, keeps your ph a little more stabil from what I understand.

Man I hated that about those things. At first it was funny for me to. Then he started picking up my chalice frags and killing stuff. :( I went with a short spine and a pencil urchin.

Superglue gel....more than just a household band aid. Keeps the frags in place!

I have to pick up a Sea Horse and my mini-maxi next week and can get it then. I will have it at least a week before I go back up to Garretts ( employment suck's, I can't do the stuff I want to do and go as I used to).

It's a nice 210! I have seen it and could eat from the sump area...everything new, painted etc. It's not your " run of the mill" set up!
