  1. Check with Algae, I think has a good grasp on red, green and pink rep points. LOL

Ditto what kim said. Anybody blasting a negative red point is a social intravert and hides behind a keyboard assuming it will protect them like the shield they used to have in Dungeons and Dragons...LOL! It's like a drive by shooting , but you use a mouse HAHAHA

  2. I have a couple things also to get there including Emeralds generator to work on, but my schedule is not permitting me to get up there like I used to. Pm me your number and I will call/txt you next week when I can go.

He may be able to ship it to you U.P.S. that option is much less than the $40 gas bill for me to go up and back.

  3. If you can email a proof of the flyers you would like to print, I will donate the printing including TFT flyers. Let me know where you want the box of them shipped, and I will donate the shipping also. PM me for the email address. We also have a LOCAL buisness card supplier with top quality products at competitive internet prices. I can help with this too if the MOD's are interested.

  4. Glass is easy to cut and you could probobly do it yourself. Buy a glass cutter ( cheap ), stop by a glass shop and watch them cut a piece and "snap" it. After that, if you have any questions Pm me or call and I will walk you through it. The key is a straight edge, a glass cutter and gloves.

  5. I like the fact that within 2 hours I can be on the doorstep of any member here or have them at mine. It brings a closeness to the group that you don't get with the other sites. With that closeness you get comfortable, just like you would with friends, family etc. and people start to form "clicks" like in high school. I think some people feel that they don't fit in within some clicks as well as they have before or do now and they may form an opinion, which they are entiltled to do, and like any forum....it gets off track. It's still conversation among friends and fellow reefers and it a good thing. This forum has a TON of good people, good information, good friends etc. and alot going for it, now and in the future. Those who have fallen off, post blame, chew their words without tasting them first just need to take a deep breath, walk outside, look up and thank God that they are in a place where they are able to have a saltwater tank(s) and a resource like this forum then go back to the keyboard. Unless you are Claythesavagefraser, life, forums, vendors, LFS's, group buys etc. will go wrong at some point and your feelings will get hurt. Take a deep breath. Go to a different thread, search something different, mabey enjoy the Pic of the Month? What I guess I'm rambling on about is just drama. If you read past the first post and found this you are apart of the drama. Most of us are adults. When I see a thread about " the good things this forum brings and we might be getting a bad rap" It Erks me. To all of you " lurkers" , stay around It's a great GROUP! Chime in and remember to do watere changes.

  6. I will make this short one here. But feel free to pm me to get my number. I can talk you through a little better.

Impreza- In that year range head gaskets are a major issue

MR2-Turbos leak and have bearing issues

SC400- No notorious major issues but up keep can be expensive(due to parts prices)

S2000- Have transmission syncro problems(hard to find one of these cars that has not been thouroughly abused)

Like I said this is just a short list. I am a certified auto tech that has been dealing in recon of used vehicles for resale for 5+ years. Been a Tech for about 12 now. Feel free to contact me. Maybe I could work out some sort of trade to do a quick inspection on the lot/driveway of the car your thinking of buying.

+1 in that same order for the same reasons. If it was my choice and I could only pick from those 4, It would be the Subaru. Only because I live in Eugene and it wouldn't get key'ed, I could park it at the trail head unlocked and not get stuff stolen from it and have V.I.P. parking at the country fair.

  7. Drew. I have an Ehiem set up as a carbon reactor you can borrow, just needs new carbon every time you use it.

Jason H. ...He and Kmiller (his wife) have successfully had a 46 bow up and running for over a year. They switched to a 72 corner a few weeks ago. Normal sand cycle, but I know they check the param's regularly.
