Ok so i got it in and the pump seems really loud to me but maybe my expectations are high, anyone that has one that seems loud? i was under the impression that they were really quiet?

Im in need of a new skimmer that will handle around 180gal and was looking at the SWC 180 Extreme skimmer and was wanting input before i lay down 375 bucks. Ive heard good things about the SWC's and i like the small foot print and i was told their really quiet.

Not positive but mine seems to grow with the flow i have on it, mine was growing similar to that until i upped the flow in the tank now its growing different directions.

Very Cool! I love to see SPS groth too something about how it grows its own skeleton is neat to me. looking foward to seeing everything in the 40.
