Must have missed this Bill sorry. So far i haven't needed to dim the reds or greens at all. I really don't notice a big difference but the way i have it set up at the end of the day its just blue red and green going and what i notice the most is how brilliant these colors make the fish appear. I have done side by side comparisons though and there is a definite perceptible difference in the over all color of the tank and coral with W/B/R/G on one side and just W/B on the other. Wish i could capture a good photo of it but it doesnt really work.

Do you have a picture? You might try to give it one more manual removal before the dip. Have you tested for Phos? It can build up no matter how good your water change routine. Running a GFO reactor can be done economically through brs and is a great way to remove P.

Well its been 16 days and I am sad to report my LE Brown Bomber frag has started to morph-(sad) The tips are turning blue and I think the body is starting to turn green.

 

Sorry I cant keep its original color-DOH! but I did mention it that it had 45 days to change-I think I am on track-(whistle)

When I had my 250's set up I ran them 8 hours a day and a couple t5s for 12 hours. What MH bulb brand and temp are you going with?
