  1. Lovely, rare and insane colored little nems. I bought them directly from Lauren, the originator, about 2 years ago, so they are healthy and it is time to diffuse them here in Portland :)

They are Stichodactyla Tapetum from Indo Pacific.

Usually in the $100/200 range plus shipping in the very few stores that carries them.

I am asking $70 or accepting trades (some sps, clams, scolys).

    I have 4 available

    Thank you

  2. My new tank is up and running so I can sell my temporary tank.

I bought this one year ago from epic1 and added an overflow box and plumbing.

It is plumbed as peninsula with 2 returns and an overflow that I designed: similar to the bean animal, just better: the italian animal lol

If has one return which is submerged, one return that handle less flow and one backup. All holes in the side, not bottom.

The overflow is fast (I was using an hammerhead pump half speed no problem) and silent, other than safe.

    It has a nice stand.

The tank has some crazing on the seams, but it is structurally sound. That's why it is in the $200 range and not in the $500+.

    Tank sizes are: 72x24x24

    Asking $250

  3. The Solana skimmer is kinda noisy, as many skimmers this size. To perform well they need a faster turnover compared to bigger units. This is why sometimes we see technologies that are not more used in bigger tanks/skimmers, as "jet-splash".

I would suggest you to get a better skimmer, that will perform well and maybe be a little bit less noisy.

Forget the bottle and get a double switch unit. I'm using the autotopoff.com one. It has been years, works great and it is cheap.

Hope this helps, enjoy the Solana!

  4. Welcome back! I was wondering what you were doing after building that stand.

I always think about setting up another planted tank but luckily I never do. You did, and now you are stuck with a lot of weed in a nice glass box ;)

  5. mytshall, the Par meter is now in the southern area. We are not filling a northern list again, until the par meter will be back north.

The par meter will stay south until our members are done with it or by about six months, so we can equally share it during the year.

We will annonce it in this thread.

I think you, and other northern members, can ask to be added to the southern list. You will have to pick up and return it at Miles (impur) location. We are not going to ship it.

    Thanks

  6. This tank was dismantled and is now for sale in the classified section. It was an amazing tank and I enjoyed it for about 2 years.

Now is time to recover what it is left after the relocation and grow some more sps!

  7. Better if I sell some stuff or before or later I will have a second system running and a coral farming facility in the garage. This kind of things take you directly in front of a divorce lawyer (wife)

For sale is my glorious 65g display.

Here is a link to the tank build thread and how it looked before I relocated: http://www.pnwmas.org/forums/showthread.php?13252-Grassi-s-65g

The tank is a 65g acrylic 56x15x18h, great dimensions. It looks bigger than it is and fishes can swim freely. It is made by Truvu Aquariums. It has some scratches that can be buffed out easily.

It is plumbed with a 1500gph glass"holes overflow box and closed loop.

2 returns (both with plumbing and check valves included).

The closed loop has 2 returns with a scwd.

It has a pump that you can use for the closed loop (suggested) or return.

With the right pump this tank can grow some great colonies. The design turned out being successfully.

It comes with a sump with built in refugium with a skimmer compartment that can hold a Bubble Magus NAC6. And all the pvc and plumbing that always cost you a lot of money when building a tank.

It also has stand and canopy (not stained because I never used and I suggest you to use it as an open top if you want some good results).

I'm also considering to sell my whole system (the one I was running before the new 180), so the 65 + the ricordeum + the 2 40b and stands. It is all in my backyard, so if you want to check it out you are free to swing by and get the whole thing. I was thinking about $500 for the whole setup.

Otherwise I will put the other parts for sale soon.

    Asking $250
