good to know.ill prob still wait. i would hate to do a bunch of trades and have someone get 1 somehow. plus if i myself would feel a little weary buying from someone who just had red bugs. i dunno i figure it will give me an whoever a little piece of mind.

the small ones that pop into the eggcrate are not pure white there kinda mix some will be more white than other i use the whitest ones for sps and the other for lps and softies. as for the bigger ones i got in pure white marble from hoedepot. only catch is they dont pop in the egcrate.ive seriously had no probs i suggest using them to everyone i come across. the price per plug cant be beat and theres no soak time.i will continue using them. just make sure not to glue the frag to the super smooth side or it will pop off in a few days.

yeah i figure to be safe no trades out for a month and a half. but im sure 3 doses will destroy everything.i plan to add at least a few different bottles of live pods to seed it for the mandarins. i figure 8,000 love pods should be able to start a new population.

so i dosed the interceptor 3-4 days ago. everything went well. i couldnt get the acro crabs out. sucks i really love them and its not like you can order acro crabs(sad). but when it comes down to 1 gizilion dollars in sps or a few freebie crabs. living and adorable personalitys or not. i chose the sps. everything has gone smooth. my mandarins have kinda been spazing out not being able to find pods. but i have them both on like and frozen brine multiple times a day. and its working well. havent seen any red bugs. all corals look great(rock2)

came to the coclussion today i need an aquariscope(whistle).i took like 30 top down pics and this one turned out. sweet piece though its the sam one carl from reefvideos has in his 300 gallon cube. green with red tips. strange the few frags ive offerd for sale noone is interested in(scratch). i like it

ive been using precut squars from lowes for over 4-5 months with no problems theres a grip of them in my system

cmon the suspense is killing me. pull the skimmer out of staorage and take a pic or something....

ive never seen one(scratch). at least not at barnes and noble or borders. i dont think lfs either(scratch)

i prob have a couple hundred of them in my opinion there good and add to my cleanup crew.

i also have a chalices that needs to be at the top of my tank like 4 inches from 2 175 watt halides for it to be green. anywhere else its brown. then i have some that will brown at the top and turn green and purple in low light.i would start low for a few months and then try differnt areas depending on color from there. also my personal recommendation to try and revive it would be like 3 drops phyto some rotifiers and brine all in a cup or small container the chalice will fit in. then in he middle of the nigh snag it out of the water and place it in the bowl and float it for 30 mins so the temp does not drop.its worked for me with a chalice some trupet corals and almost non existent sun coral. good luck. and make sure it is not in a spot a goby or a powerhead is going to get sand on it. its in a real fragile state right now many little things can send it speeding off in the wrong direction right now.

how long ago were they fragged? in my experience is they are extremely fragile till all the outer flesh is bubbled up and healed . if its fresh cut and was moved into a new home i could see it reseeding a lot and possibly not make it depending on the size. but thats just my experience. unless its a large decent size frag and the flesh is thick and edge is bubbley then i dont know what happend. but the smaller the frag and if it had less flesh to begin with and its been moved within a week or so of being cut the survival rate drops.some are more fragile than others ive cut chalices and had them healed in less tha a week. i have also cut chalice and had them take over a month to heal.

look it up on youtube there are tons of videos. im amazed at the movement they can get from one powerhead. ive been looking into them and the battery backups they have available for an additional 130 seem like a good investment as well considering it can power one powerhead for 30 hours straight. i was reading about them on reef central and there was a guy who said hes used them for 3 years no problems. it seems that one company spent a lot of money in research and development to put out one really nice product and from what ive seen online its probably worth the 400 or so dollars.

if you have 2 pcs in that fixture i would use them both as actinics to supliment color and for the 2 175s the iwasaki 14k aka the par moster each 175 has as much par as some 250s but even though there 14k they look like 10, so if you suplimented the pc as blue it would work out nice

i have bad luck keeping them alive(scratch). but i did have 2 before my last move that completely wiped out my entire aiptasia epidemic. my tank was prob as bad as yours or worse i tried shooting them with kalk but there was always some i couldnt find after battleing them for about a year those 2 peperment did the trick.

seems pretty cool. best park we have down here is wilamalane skatepark in springtucky. its a tony hawk park.never got real into parks but after driving by cal young park in eugene all the time and seeing it completely empty it makes me want to start up again.i prob quite 2 years ago last time was a broken ankle that i had already rolled like 5 times(wife)

i promise it is an amazing piece. when i first gave a piece to curtis his was similar to yours and his is now amazing. im actually jealous because you can see the green base on his, mines so [language filter] big it casts a shadow over the base(laugh).
