  1. I have 1 arrow crab, will he take care of the worm before he get too big?
  2. WOW, I have heard of shrimp on a barbe, but never a treadmill (scratch)....WOW, (laugh) if it would stay off of the treadmill, I would put it on a toothpick (naughty)....LOL
  3. Well, the flame scallops see or sense that the worm is there, and chase it away from the area that the scallop is in. The scallop does it's hopping, fluddering, maybe like it is trying to eat it or something. I hear conflicting stories about the bristleworn, in a poll, who has them? And who wants them out of their tanks? I am new to this hobby. So, if I could, I would like to poll the question, if that is possible. Thanks Kevin
  4. I need to I.D. a worm that I found in my newly set-up tank. It is about an 1-1 1/2 " long and red with one gray end that is about 1/2-3/4 ". I have 4 flame scallops, and they seem to fight with the worm. If the worm is now a safe member of the tank I will remove him next time I see him. Thanks Kevin (scratch)
  5. I floated them in the tank, but, they stayed on their backs and I thought they were playing dead, but, dead they were.
  6. Water leak, it has a good hose clamp on it now.
  7. Buying Saltwater I have no one in my area that sell Saltwater, I guess I will drive to Salem. I have been mixing saltwater sense midnight, and not I have been taught a very valuable lesson. I will keep 30 gallons on hand from now on. Kevin (scratch)
  8. Hi Ladies, I am new to saltwater, so this question may be stupid, but will the zoos do okay with 520 watts (CPF). I have what looks like zoos growing on live rock that I bought from a member. I would like to add these if you still have them, any only if that can handle my low light for awhile. Thanks Kevin
  9. I tried that, I have a section of water line in the U tube and it won't take, also sucked on water line, it will go that way, but then stop
  10. Thank Michael, One more question if you have time. I lost my suction at my overflow bock, what is the best way to get it started again? I am new to this.
  11. it is completely dissolved and test good
  12. water was between 125 and 130 when mixed with salt mix, then I used a power head to mix water and salt mix together
  13. I currently only have inverts in my tank
  14. I was going to add the water when it is okay, but add it to the skimmer box to mix it better and cycle with the other water.
  15. I thing that I have lost about 10-15 gallons. I have used a small pump to full the tank back up and I am now low in my sump/refugium. I'm sorry, I'm new
  16. I have just lost enough for the skimmer box and refugium, I think?
  17. Mixing bucket, tank is fine, just low. I have not added from the bucket yet, just waiting for the okay.
  18. Water is great, only it is stiil cloudy
  19. I had a hose come off and I lost about 10+ Gallons of water. I am mixing water with salt mix right now. How long do I need to wait, when temp is ideal to add to skimmer? (scratch)
  20. Thanks guy, I had that question myself for my 90 GAL tank, but forgot to ask. So the Diamond Goby, and the Orange Line Goby are the ones to get. Can you tell us, what else is good for the sand bottoms. I am looking for a good burrower that like to work close to the bottom of the sand bed, any good ideas for that as well? I have a tank with used sand and rock, and I need a good deep cleaner. Thanks Kevin
  21. OOOHH HEY, It also has a pre-filter, an aquarium filter that is very nice pre-filter the fits over the tube.
  22. Hey Aqua-ed, sorry to hear about your overflow. Question for you, do you pre-filter your over-flow box, or is it un-filtered. I am just starting out and bought an over-flow box the only has 1 U-tube and a two stage box in the tank that only cost mr $60.00. Good Luck Kevin
  23. They where bagged in air, and they arrived yesterday and I bought them only 6 or 7 hours before trying to aclimate them to my tank. Kevin
