  1. I currently have him in with some zoanthids, and anemonies and have not noticed him picking on any of them. Prior to that he was in a full reef tank with many different mushrooms, zoas, anemonies, and other various softies. I have not seen him around hard corals. So as of right now, I would consider him reef safe, but I have heard that often a change of scenery will make them change habits.
  2. Thanks for the input! Yea he has done great so far, along with the rest of them, and the largest fish he has been with is my 4-5" yellow tang and didnt seem to have a problem with him at all. How large were the triggers and foxface you had? Any prospective buyers, take note to what she has said, this was her fish for the longest time, so I am sure she has had more experiences to go with him than I have. Thanks
  3. I have a "Show size" (8") Blueface Angel that I no longer will have the ability to keep. I will be joining my 2 72 bowfront tanks together and I will be turning my focus more towards hard corals, and will not have the ability to keep him anymore. Truly a beautiful fish, fat, healthy, and eats like a horse. He has not fought with any of the fish I have had him with, but I have not had anything his size (8") in the tank, so I can not guarantee he would not fight with them. I have seen no signs of aggression towards any of my other fish (multiple tangs, damsels, a coral beauty, clowns, etc.). Anyways, he needs a new home. Here is a link to some info about the fish, and I have attached a picture that looks exactly like him (trying to catch a good picture with my camera skills does not happen). link: http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/angelfish/bluefaceangelfish/ As you can see they charge $599 for a fish this size, when even available, other websites have them for around $200 for one slightly smaller, before shipping. I do not need anything near that $599 price, and would love to work out a trade of some sort. If you are interested, shoot me a PM and we can hopefully work something out. Don't be bashful about throwing an offer out there, gotta start somewhere!
  4. Here are the pics, sorry for the delay...
  5. Alright I will shoot a picture of what I have and get it to you later this evening hopefully.
  6. I have one, but I am in salem. Let me know if you will be around here...
  7. Wow he is beautiful! hope he finds a good home!
  8. Sale pending.... And yes it does go inside the sump. I am not sure how tall it is. Thanks
  9. Mark, thanks for the great stuff and awesome deals. The tang is happy and healthy, and already eating (after 45 minutes). Those fish are pigs!! have fun in Fiji with the real stuff!
  10. Yep water comes out the side...it is in decent shape if someone took the time to clean it.
  11. $10 or a frag...i want this thing gone!
  12. Will take a trade for frag(s) or ????
  13. Will take a trade for frag(s) or ????
  14. I have a protein skimmer I have not used since my very first tank, and need it gone. I am unsure of the brand, and it has a small chip in the top corner (too high to effect performance at all). It could use a good cleaning, come get it, first $15 takes it!
  15. I have a bucket of t-5 daisy chain lights I got when I purchased my new tank. I do not need them, they are various sizes, and I have not tested them at all to see if they even work! There are 20 lights (bulb+ fixture = 1). I just need them gone, first $20 bucks takes it!
  16. Multiple Clowns = Multiple Headaches When I was new at this game, I made the mistake of trying to add in a percula when I already had a clarkii. He was a very peaceful fish until I dropped the bag in to start acclimating him...long story short one of them had to go back to the fish store, so my new perc had to go. Outside of finding a pair of clowns that have been together a while (which is very hard to do) it helps if you get one large clown, and one much smaller. They are less likely to whoop on em, but still keep a very close eye on them the first few days. Also temporarily moving the aquascape around helps, it distracts the first clown, and he has to get used to the area a bit more before claiming it as 'his territory'. These are all things I have tried, some work, some do not, its just different for every tank I guess. I also even heard putting a small mirror in the tank works from time to time. Best of luck, just wait till you start dealing with finnicky tangs! haha
  17. About how much electricity do they normally put off, and how much is more than needed? I really have no clue when it comes to this stuff, so I need to see if I have to return mine or not.
  18. How long are these usually under warranty? Are receipts needed or anything?
  19. Haha I figured it would be too small, it was worth a shot though. Good luck finding what you need!
  20. Dont know how small you are looking for, but I just got a small (real small) one I dont need. It is very similar to this one... http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewItem~idProduct~CW1111~tab~0.html Let me know if you want it. Thanks
