25 to 30 gallons per week on the current tank. Before that I was probably doing a 30 gallon water change per month on the 200 gallon tank.

My experience
I moved a 120 gallon tank and all the livestock 4 hours from MD to PA a couple of years ago. I had (2) 30 gallon igloo coolers for the most important livestock and than I just put the rest of the hardier stuff in (2) trashcans. I moved in late spring so temperatures were a lot warmer than now. The trailer you have an enclosed one? If not I would think the generator and heaters are a must.
I still have one of the coolers I moved stuff in that you can borrow. Looks like the one in the following pic.

Oceanpure salt
200 gallon mix of Oceanpure for $49(not in a bucket). Not sure how good the salt is since I never used it but from what i've read online it's not bad. Soutas uses it in their tanks, can't be all that bad. Anyone have experience with this brand?

Great looking tank and amazing pictures with the point and shoot camera. I have a Sony (H1) digital camera and I can't even get close to that nice of picture.
-
very nice tank, great pictures. I contacted you through craigslist. Nice to see what your tank looks like.

Big surprise, thought I was at the wrong site for a second. I like it!

I bought (3) used 1" Sea Swirls from someone on RC and I only ended up using two of them. It works when you plug it in but it's never been on any of my tanks. Asking $125.

Thanks again everyone for all the praise. it's definitely been a good amount of work to this point. It's nice to be able to start to relax and actually just look at it.
Anyone who couldn't make the meeting is welcome to come over and check out the tank. I really enjoyed talking with everyone who was able to come to the meeting.

Updated Pics
Some more progress. Most of the trim work and cabinet doors were installed on Sunday before the meeting so that is why I never posted pics before. Cushions for the seats on either side still to be completed. Sanding and painting too. I've attached a few of the better pictures. More pics can be seen at the following link.

Any updates on how the anemones that went under the knife are doing? pics?

I bought a reeflo orca skimmer about 2 months ago for my 400 gallon tank and i read a lot of reviews on the MSX and other skimmers. All the reviews i read said the MSX skimmers were a lot of skimmer for your money. I actually considered buying (2) MSX300 for my 400 because two were less than the reeflo orca 250 but then i would have had to clean two skimmers and 4 pumps. too much work, plugs and it would have been really tight in my sump. (laugh)

Tank, stand and sump
50 gallon Oceanic was paid for but the person never came back to pick up the tank. I've contacted the person who bought it and let him know i was going to sell it again if he doesn't come get it. He didn't respond so it's up for sale again.
The sump is also available price drop to $75, obo.

Custom frag tank. Dimensions are 55" long x 29" wide x 10" deep. I glued in some partitions and cut teeth in the partitions to make separate sections for refugium, skimmer and return pump. Worked well but because of the large surface area it did evaporate a lot of water. It took up more space than the current 58 gallon frag tank i setup to replace it. I'm interested in trades of corals or $50.

I don't know about everyone else but I check craigslist for saltwater stuff a couple times a week. This looks like this could be a good deal depending on the condition of everything. Only problem i see is it looks like a narrow tank so not much space to stack rock. I would consider buying it as an upgrade to my frag tank if my wife wouldn't kill me.

I haven't been very good at keeping up with posts and updates. The tank is doing well. I added a Melanurus wrasse about a month ago and some coral frags. I also added three Sunburst anthias at the same as the wrasse but only one made it and it's doing great. It's eating like a pig but still very shy. I added 3 different color millipora frags, two different colors of zoos and a hammer.
I got the skimmer setup about a month ago and that things is a great skimmer. I'm really happy with it's performance so far. Just this past week i setup the calcium reactor. Finish carpentry isn't complete around the tank but hopefully next sunday it will be mostly complete. That's the plan anyways.

frag tank
I was able to see this system in person and its amazing. You should put in a pic of that frag tank you had right behind the display when I was there. The one you got from work.I actually took that tank down and replaced it with a 58 gallon oceanic with built in overflow that i found on craigslist. The frag tank was nice but it evaporated so much water because it was so much surface area and it was difficult to cover. It was about 4' long x 2.5' wide x 10" tall so it took up more space than the new tank.
