  1. EVERYTHING IS GONE I'M SORRY, IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY IT FROM CAYES PET STORE AROUND 130TH AND DIVISION (ISH).
  2. We're breaking down our huge system and only keeping a 25g hex for salt. A friend of ours is babysitting everything that we are keeping, what I have left here goes. Let me know if your'e still interested in anything, sorry about the confusion!
  3. Sorry $4 is as cheap as I am going on the LR if you can find it for cheaper somewhere else I'd get it there Sorry the leopard wrasse won't cooperate! He's camera shy LMAO! It's nice and healthy I believe possibly a female?? Not sure but from the descriptions I've read I'm leaning that way. Always first in line to eat come feeding time! The flame angel I have not noticed him anywhere near my corals but I do keep some kind of seaweed/algae something or another in the tnak for them to pick on and eat so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with things. Umm SPS? Don't those have to have MH for lighting?? We've only got VHO's so have tried to stay with the stofter corals so we didn't have to go upgrade lighting again. As far as time to come over, why don't you PM me your # and we can try to work things out. I'm trying to plan our wedding for July 12th and since we're pretty close I'm running out of free time LOL. We can work something out though! Maybe Sunday afternoon???
  4. Umm from vancouver, I'm guessing maybe 15-20 minutes, we're not far from the Glen Jackson Bridge (I think that's the name). Live rock was purchased at Seahorse Aquarium Supply for $7.XX per lb (I remember it was almost $8 so I rounded up) I'd be willing to go as low as $4 per lb but some of my LR has corals and such on them so we'd have to neg on those. Most everything in here I'm either asking what we paid or less. Money's tight and I got to try to get some of our $ back out of this so my fiancee does not have a heart attack LOL (I'm sure many of you can understand that)

Kenya Tree $40 for both corals (with waving hand coral) Sorry I do not have photos of these as we don't have a digital camera (it broke), I am trying to find some of my older photos to post. Please be patient, until then you can google images and information on any of the above mentioned items. I'm open to making appointments for people to stop by and look at the tank if interested in buying things. A few more things for sale: Live rock (aprox) 70 lbs (some with coral most without) $5 per lb (paid $8) Crushed coral substrate (aprox 120 lbs) $1 per lb 50lbs white sand (with bugs and everything) $1.5 per lb I will also throw in EVERYTHING I have left for saltwater, chemicals, salt, food, testers, etc! 6. Ya, it's a sad day when every time you look at your saltwater tank, you think that it might just make a killer freshwater setup :(
  7. Got pics? What color is your sun coral??
  8. any chance you can post pics? I'm not sure if your "orange" is the same as the "yellow" that I have?? I'm new to the sun corals, but they're wonderful!
  9. :( Bummer I'd love to show off our system but we're going to be gone on our honeymoon Maybe we can be part of the next one? As long as I can talk my finacee into it
  10. Corals still available... Also adding Kenya tree and waving hand corals to the bunch that needs to find a new home. Possibly more to add also.
  11. Your always "there" but you don't respond most of the time... how come?
  12. I've often requested read receipts and never got any back... who knows
  13. oh, I forgot the last two The first one... umm I forget the name it's a kind of mushroom I guess but hard? It's watermelon or something like that (orange/green/pink) and has another one growing next to it that is all green. sorry cna't get a decent photo of it. Make offer The second one is a green brain coral about 3-4" across on a peice of rock around 5lbs. Very pretty, green with red border. Make offer
  14. Ok, more to add to list to part with First up (photo above) large green and red polyps (around 75 polyps) on a peice of live rock weighs around 4-5 lbs. Make offer This rock has 2 types of corals, first is the green and red polyps (aprox 30 polyps) and a peice of gorgonia or Green star polyps (easy to care for, pretty and grow quick). Make offer Ok, these are going to be a bit trickier... I have many colors some are on one rock others are separate, no I will not separate them (I don't know how) they come as they are sorry... Make offer This is a pink flower pot (at least what I was told) our daughter picked it out for the tank and now she does not like it, now since I've over done things a bit we've agreed to find it a new home. Attached to a small peice of base rock. Make offer another pic of zooanthids, sorry my shrooms are not for sale (at least not right now). make offer Feel free to drop me a PM or e-mail with questions/offers. May be willing to make a deal depending on how much you buy. May be willing to part with a few other things in our tank that I wasn't before... can't hurt to ask! Later! (rock2)
  15. Not a good review, but not a bad one really either... Did receive the fish that I requested (had to meet them in Portland for the second one, they didn't want to drive all the way to our house)... the fish didn't come as a "pair" as I requested but I did get both of them... (don't know if they can be "paired" even though so?) They are both VERY nice people but EXTREMELY hard to keep in touch with... I had to send several e-mails and call and leave numerous phone calls for just one response back! I'd probably get fish from them again but only if they're better at getting back to people.
  16. Going to be changing up our tank a bit so we're going to be parting with a few things. I'll make a list here as I decide what is going. First thing up for grabs is our crushed coral, we're going to change over to sand. This is size 2 or 3 I believe and is around a year old. Cycled and full of little bugs, my fish love picking through the gravel and eating them! have close to 120# of it. Make offer?! No idea what it is worth but would (ideally) like it to go all at once but I'm willing to split it up. I'll be making a list of what LR and corals are going to be leaving also. right now all I knwo for sure is our substrate needs to go. I'll update this post as soon as I have my list.
  17. Need RODI unti for our tank Have 4' compact fluorescent (dual bulb with 2 moonlights for 24hour lighting) Fan in the end for cooling and sliding shield for easy maintanance of bulbs. Used for a month and then upgraded our lights. Lots of life left in this unit. No feet (sorry never had any when I bought it). I believe I still have the box for this also. will also consider a trade for MH setup that can be installed with VHO lighting looking for 2-250w bulbs/setup. Let me know what you have lets work something out!
  18. Thank you both for the wonderful information. I'll be welcoming any and all ideas as this is our first trial with seahorses. Unfortunatly I don't think one of them is going to make it but the other seems to be doing fine. I could be wrong on both cases though, like I said this is our first go around. One of them is a yellowish brown with darker spots, the other is a darker yellow/brown with even darker spots. I really dont' know what kind they are other than they are tank raised (I know my bad for not asking). We're doing this for our daughter who is in love with the nemo movie, she really wanted the seahorses, so here we are I welcome any frags that are available (even green) although I need to talk to our daughter about re-locating her choclate chip starfish that she wanted (and that are now in the seahorse tank). We'll see what happens about those. I'd love to get soem grape algae (can't remember what the correct name is, calupera?) Red would be awesome (I've never seen it) but green would be fine as well, we want to have a happy home for them over anything else. We do have a few peices of LR in the tank, along with a fake blue plant and a coral peice with fake leaves on it (cloth). DSB? Something Sand bed? We have a 2-3" sand bed in there right now (size 0 or 1) I Can't rememver what size. and shrimp (tiny ones) like crazy and weird little bugs all over. ALso have some kind of green seaweed stuff in there with a small peice of cleto? Oh and Spongebob's house.
  19. I just aquired a pair of wonderful (TANK RAISED YAY!!!) seahorses from one of my LFS's and We are now in search of trying to find them some "acceptable" habitats for them to hang onto etc... I've done a bit of research, and they mention gorgonians and black coral trees? We have a 40g Hex tank that is inline with our main reef tank (as seahorses are not aggressive feeders), and are having a hood built for this as we speak (bartering work with a friend of ours who makes stands/canopies) for a compac fluorescent light to be installed in (our friend is also doing our lighting for us). I've read that they don't need a lot of light but would like to find something that would do well in our tank! I'm looking for suggestions at this point and frags that we might be able to pick up for cheap... Still on a PT budget LOL (sigh - I need to win the lottery for this hobby LOL). We would like bright colorful stuff, but not sure what is available as far as colors go at this point. Photo's would be wonderful if you can point me in the right direction... or send me a pic of what you have if you're willing to frag it/them out. Purples, reds, yellows, pinks... all welcome we have a lot of green in our system right now and would like to try to stay away from that particular color. Please let me know in your response, what kind it is, what lights it will need, and any special requirements so I can be sure that this is something we can keep alive once we do add it. We've had incredible luck with our tank and have lost very little out of it (now that we're not hooked up with slimeballs who just want money) and I would like to keep it that way. Anyway, Looking forward to hearing from you!
  20. Talked to a couple pet stores... not sure I agree with them. I was told they'd be worth $300-$350 for a bonded pair that's laying eggs. Personally I think that is a bit high so I'm asking $150 OBO for them, they will come with a LT anemone they've taken too as well. Female is 4-5" and very cool to watch, she will actually feed the anemone if you drop silver sides into the tank. Male is around 2" and has wonderful color on him. E-mail with any questions you may have. I need to sell these guys so we can get our daughter her sea-horses that she wants. Please serious inquiries only, I"ve had 2 people contact me only to drop off of the face of the web w/o even saying they don't want them. I'll be happy to answer any questions that I can with them. MAYBE interested in trading.
  21. vanz: Starve one shrimp in an entire tank??? How do you do that? I don't specifically feed the shrimp I have but they do well at finding their own food come feeding time Aqua-ed: How does one go about scrubbing rocks that have corals attached to them (softies)? Smann: Do you have any anemone's in your tank that you used the "Joes Juice" in? How close were they to other corals? I have some that are on the same rock as my other anemone's and some touching some of my mushrooms is why I am asking. Thanks for all the ideas
