thanks for the warm welcome guys! i look forward to meeting you all. i wont be able to make the meeting this weekend unfortunately but i will be at the CFM, already have my ticket! i am thinking about either a 40B or maybe a custom acrylic from envision, 30x30x16 as i have a 400w MH that is just begging to be used for prop. more to come.

I was in there today for the first time. I found their staff very helpful! i can't wait for their remodle to be over and see those big frag tanks in action. picked up an unusual looking zoa frag, very well priced. i look forward to spending more time and money with you guys! keep it up.

one thing i think its important to note is that if your going to put fish in it it must be at least 1 1/2' deep for them to survive the winter. also everyone i have ever made i first lined the hole with old used carpet like the industrial stuff and the put a couple inches of sand over that. that way you never have to worry about anything puncturing the liner. like tree roots or even gophers. just my thoughts. hope its helpful

i gotta say hermits have their place in the beginning but man they mess with my corals something aweful so now the bulk of the hermits i had in my ap24 have met their maker at the hands(or smashers) of my G. smithii. the mantis love the little things. i have gone snails only for the most part and with the right combination i have no problem keeping everything in check. too it becomes easier as your tank gets more mature. just my $.02

yeah there are people who have alts that will pay big money for silly thinks just to lvl their alt. good in some cases really bad in others. but yet i do indeed suffer from the addiction/11 (laugh) make sure you guys update your add-ons if you use any since the last update came out!!!

Thanks Michael! yeah i have found that now i am running short on space in my little tank. i think soon i will have to start a large tank perhaps just a prop tank so i can continue on this increasingly crack like addiction.
