or even slightly within reason, almost better off collecting Ferraris.I got into the hobby thinking I could do it on the cheap. DOH!I built an inwall tank without front access, major stupidity!
-
Coming from someone with an inwall the answer is easy, you cant arrange the tank from the back, it takes 2 people ( yelling) and even then it never looks as good as front loading.Nice set up, I've been watching since day one and need to ask about the design. Why do you have the opening in the wall the size you do, it looks like there is about a 1 foot gap from the top off the tank to the wall?
Hes going to build a front cover, you owe it to yourself to see this tank in person!

Saw this setup yesterday and its truly Top of its class, Grade A+, just a tasty looking eye candy treat! Do they give Gold Medals in Reefkeeping?
Lighting system was very nice, I dont think there was anything in the entire setup that wasnt well thought out. YaY, clap clap

$135 and $330 shipped is what was paid. What was the final price on them with the shipping savings? If I had to guess the shipping cost was probably a wash between shipping 15-16 to Tenn then Priority Prepaid USPS to here ($5 per 5). We went with direct from Ecotech to avoid confusion in the order, if there was any savings at all Im guessing it was swallowed by the $130 Pay Pal our friend swallowed that made this possible.
-
Ecotech located in Bethlehem PA is basically the epicenter of the Blizzard, I think they got 24" the day the order was placed. Even if they do show up to take an order, shipping around this area has been delayed by airports being shut down for several days.

Dan,
when you asked if I had seen your setup I didnt realize it was this one. And so I change my answer to........Yeah, yeah I know which tank is yours, Spectacular may not be a good enough word to describe it!

No problem man, hope they take care of you! Theyre pretty cool peopleThanks Husker, Kyle down there says to bring it in and they'll take a look. I appreciate the recommendation.Mark

The other thing is mp40s at 50% will probably make hardly a sound as compared to MP 20s cranked up. Im just guessing though. I would go bigger just to be safe for Upgrade Tankitis.
MP 40s are 3" diameter and stick 2-1/4" outside and inside the tank if that matters, Byrd you have dimensions on the MP20s?

I havent ran this by Garrett yet but.......... since one of the guys wanting 2 of these is from Eugene, thats a haul to Vancouver to pick them up, Mytshall also said he can take them as well and I think he was Oregon City? Im right in the middle as well and could deliver to Portland but Eugene is kinda one of those places I hit once a year. I think Garrett makes it to Portland frequently maybe he could get them and people could meet him and He's about as close to Eugene as you get being in S. SalemI can be the main person and have it shipped to my address, I live in Vancouver so people can pick it up from me or meet somewere for pick up.I sent you a pm, I thing there is enough to order.
Thank
Dan
nnewhouse maybe we could split your order out and you pay the $10 shipping, I know my vehicle gets about 14 gallons to the mile so $5-$10 shipping would be a no brainer.
We are just trying to keep shipping cheap and less work for the orderer. That way he keeps doing this as people save money for the next round
