  1. I'm looking at adding more circulation to my tank and have read great things on both of these pumps. I would like the larger version of either pumps but any circulation is better then what I have right now.

If you have a solution or a setup that may work shoot me a PM.

    Thanks :D

  2. They are old. Not sure how much life is left in them or how long they were used. I got them with the ballast and reflectors. I do know 1 pair I just used before upgrading to electronic ballasts and they seemed a bit to yellow for my taste. (boy was that expensive!) I'm open to offers on the package if you are interested.

  3. I have a RPS-3000 PCI Skimmer that needs to be shortened if possible. I am not sure if this can be done by PCI or some other way if at all . I noticed that PCI has shorter versions available so I think it is possible. The total hight I am looking for is no more than 26" so I would need to remove 4 1/2" from the RPS-3000 some how.

    Thanks,

I think I am going to go with the WH7 as well. I have a 150gal all-glass which I believe is 2' deep. I am only going to be able to run 6 60" bulbs in the hood after I put in the reflectors and all the hardware so 3 WH7's should work just fine. Do you think that the WH7's will light the bulbs to that depth?

  5. I have been looking at replacing my 2 400w MH's with 8-60" T5's and was wondering if there was a way to get more lights onto a single ballast. Im looking at the WH7 and IC660 which supply 220 and 440 watts of power. The WH7 will run 2 T5's per ballast no problem but the IC660 says it will only run 3 bulbs and by my calculations a 440w ballast should run 5 T5's 80watt bulbs no poroblem.

Shouldn't I be able to run 5 T5's off the IC instead of just 3 and is the IC worth double the price of the WH7?

    Thanks,

  8. Every time I buy 4-5 fish within 5 days all of the fish will be dead. Occasionally one will live but that has been rare. When I buy corals they all live and thrive in the tank but for the life of me I can't keep fish. I only shop at Coral Reef PC so every thing I have has come from one source. The tank in question is a 100gallons and has been set up for about 4.5 months now. I feed once a day with the principle that there should be little to no food floating around after 5 mins. All tests check out fine, temp is at 78 with a fluctuation up to 80 when the mh are running and the house gets hot. What has survived is about 30 snails, one fox face, one rabbit fish, one diamond goby, one 6 line wrasse, one sally light foot, one coral bandied shrimp and two cleaner shrimp. Please help me!!!(scratch)
