I say keep it the same. It was a blast to hang out and meet new faces and free stuff is always welcomed. As for a theme or agenda, your tank is more then enough to keep me entertained.

Found this one after doing a search.
It says FDA approved and that they are commonly used in the production of lids for coffee cups. Same company as the other link but this product only seems to be listed via their eBay page.

Yeah that would be a concern of mine as well but I'm wondering if its the same stuff that's in a few of my older tanks? It looks like the same stuff even down to the ripples on the one side.
I'm wondering what's in the plastic that would make it "not food safe"? Any ideas?

Try this link then.
Looks like it may work.

Is the black plastic going inside or out of the captive fuge? If on the outside then you could use laminent from Home Depot. They sell it in full 4x8 sheets or 2x4 sheets which would be perfect for your project. If its going on the inside you may may want to make sure there is no toxins that would leech off the laminent.

I've seen the tank and it seems like the right dimensions to be a 125gal

Great thread. This is exactly what I am planning on doing with my 29gal Nano using very similar materials. Thanks for the post!

I have an older one laying around if your still interested. Shoot me a pm and I'll look and see who made it.

LOL thanks Ryan. That is a great price for a Storm everyone. It retailed for around $250 and ran about $580 outright. It will require the $29.99 data pack which is nothing if you have ever used a smartphone and found how useful mobile internet can be.
All Blackberries sold on Verizon within the last 4-5 years required internet. All smartphones sold nowadays require the same data pack due to their connected nature.
Hope this helps.

Nice post Garrett.
I to have thought about leaving the hobby many times or just scrapping my current system to start over and do it right but the great people around the state and on this forum have always offered up a solution and kept me in the game.
I say keep at it and everything will work its self out.

Here ya go Scott.

I picked up some a few months ago from SWF. Price was very reasonable and they carried both the pre filled welded bag and the purigen/welded bag separately.

I got one unlocked when they first came out but all we could get working was voice, no data. That was some time ago and on At&t so who knows if that has changed since then.

I can see the frustration in not getting the tank. However if you offer someone two thirds of what they ask' date=' and then a better offer comes along, well that's the risk you run when you lowball people.[/quote']
Point missed completely.
I'm honestly over it. Its a tank not my house and it seems like all we have is speculation since the seller has yet to chime in. I'm here for friends and to enjoy this hobby so containing to attack someone over a bad deal is only going to hurt my reputation in the long run.
If the seller wants to voice his opinion that's dandy with me but I'm moving on and I would hope you all do as well.
Josh

Hey I may be going a different route myself-(sad) and could have a 500 gallon (brand new never had water in it) tank' date=' iron stand and sump for sale-its twice the price that was negotiated on the used one though-(naughty)[/quote']
Price was never the issue. I would be very interested if that tank comes available. Shoot me a pm if you can.

So now in reading all of this Sergeygate as I will call it was all Reefnjunkie's fault...(laugh) Way to go Brad!(laugh)(laugh)
Seriously though I really can see both sides but really don't know both sides since Sergey really hasn't chimed in.
I also understand the annoyance of having people backing out of a deal. I imagine it has happened to anyone of us who sells regularly. For me, it's a matter of the time. Waiting around having a sell drag out. If someone changes their mind then simply telling me is appreciated.
However, this forum is not craigslist which is why I prefer to buy and sell here. If I promised someone the tank on the forum. I would not sell it out from under them without making sure they still wanted it. It's also not a really good way to make a good impression when you first sign on. The forum for me is more about friendships , fun, relationships and the useful information not about making huge profits.
Sergey, I do hope you stick around and we do get to hear your side of things.
Thanks Kim. My points exactly! This form is like a family and family sticks together helping each other out.

I personally know Sergey and I would of did the same thing because I hate selling stuff and the promises that take time with no down payment are a waste of my time. First person with cash in hand gets the stuff' date=' he was pretty clear. Plus a guy that has every right to keep the down payment and yet gives it back is a plus in my book like Frank said. This forum is so quick on downgrading people with out actually knowing the person. Serge is starting his 180g build with a nice and warm welcome. Shame on you (you know who you are).[/quote']
Nope! I don't feel bad for What I did or said and I stand by that.
The name is Josh BTW.

Keeping an eye on this thread. Just picked up my first LED fixture after reading and seeing great result from those that have been using them for some time. So far I have been impressed but its a little early to tell.
