  1. cool thanks everyone, joel we will see it just depends if i can find something cheep but it might come down to that. thanks.
  2. sorry maybe i should rephrase what i meant by cheep. i am looking for somewhere around a ton of aragonite so a dollar a pound wont quite work. i was just hoping someone might know off the top of their head of anywhere up in portland that sold it for industrial use. if not I'll start calling around. Thanks
  3. i am in the process of setting up a 110 gallon tank and am wondering if anyone who owns or has actually heard a sequence hammerhead knows how loud they are. One of my friends has a dart and it is extremely quiet but considering that the hammerhead does twice the water flow i was just wondering if anyone knew what to expect as far as noise (this tank will be in my living room so i would like it quiet). Thanks, Kyle
  4. i have an acrylic tank but i want to switch to glass but dont want to have to build a new stand/canopy. so if anyone has any glass tanks that measure 60"LX18W that arent in terrible shape email me at badguitarist@hotmail.com. am willing to buy or trade, thanks Kyle
  5. the super glue i have found to work best is cyanoacrylate, and yes it is just regular super glue. make sure to get the gel form as it is much easier to work with than the liquid form.
  6. unless im mistaken its a stylocoeniella, the only one ive seen is the one i have. its a very unique coral not at all like most other sps. i would give it a try theyre pretty neat.
  7. so i am in the process of turning part of my dads greenhouse into a coral farm (i have no clue if its gonna be just for fun or if i will actually make any money of it but thats beside the point right now) what i am having a hard time finding is a cheap source of aragonite sand. down here in corvallis there isnt a good source of it for cheap. and neither of the local home depots even know what southdown sand is. i am just wondering if anyone knows of a good source anywhere in the area and yes i am willing to drive so anywhere within a few hours of corvallis would be great. thanks, Kyle
  8. yea i have some they might be 14ks but they might not i dont know theyre the blue coated ones that are in the 10 gallon lids (the blues kinda atcintik right?)
