I had about 2lbs per gallon on my 75 gallon and it was pretty darn full of rock.

Didnt keep track on my current 90 but its prob at about 1.25 per gallon right now.

Not a bad idea. When I did my 300 gallon on the second floor I was somewhat worried. But got to doing some measuring and it ended up being right over a wall right below. (Actually a small closet so ahve 4 walls.)

I dunno if I'd want to put a large tank in the middle of a floor.

I just use the 44gallon cans also with no issues yet.

I do though have a 300 gallon vertical storage tank with RO water that doubles as spot free car wash water.

Save it also.

I have oceanencounter pendants in mine. Dual 250s. Been pretty happy with them.
