  1. I built one for my sons 29 gallon. I just used some nice 3/4 inch birch that I picked up at Lowes. I think it turned out real good. I kind of built it like one I saw at a Petco or some place like that. Just remember if you are mating wood together use some Gorilla glue it is some real nice stuff and bonds great. Here is a pic you can sort of see it.

If you need a hand let me know and am willing to help if I can.

    Very nice work!

  2. New Price ......FREE

I think I damaged the foot of it while trying to remove him from the crevice he was attached to. His foot was attached to both the rock above and below him so when I tried to remove the upper rock, I basically tore him off of it. He is now in a seperate container but is extremely shriveled at the moment. If anybody wants to try to save him/her I would just give it to you.

  3. I have a small BTA that I have had almost a year now that I would like to find it a new home. It started to shrink and became bleached when I added a H. magnifica to my tank about 6 months ago. I have just recently found a S. gigantea so 3 anemones is definitely too many. If someone doesn't want it for $15.00 I will take best offer or even just give it to someone in a week or two. Come get it and take all the free Xenia that you want. Thanks for looking.

  4. This stuff is growing like a weed in my tank and would like to get rid of some. It is the standard brown pulsing kind. It will not be mounted but would be easy to do in your tank. Give me a call if you would like some...503-632-1989. I live just outside Oregon City about 3 miles past the High School.

  5. wow. thats quite the remarkable specimen. well done.

Thanks. I just hope it does well. I have a smaller H. magnifica that I have had for about 3 months that is doing very well but it is not as brightly colored (brown with white tips). When I am sure the new one is well established I plan on moving the brown one into a separate tank with a pair of clowns. Hopefully some of your tank raised A. chrysopterus juvi's will be looking for a home by then. (clap)

  6. I know the original article for making a homemade 2 part additive came out in advanced aquarist in April of 2004 and have not heard of anybody having any problems with using this recipe. There are a ton of threads on this over on RC so I feel fairly comfortable in trying it. However, my tank is only a couple of months old and there are only a few fish on no corals so I'm not taking a real big gamble.
