The haddoni looks like it settled in well. Is it hosting the clowns yet? GLWS

Updated original post. Tank is pending. 3 regular B&W clowns left, one is definitely a female with the other two juvenile/male.

BTW, I'm live just outside of Oregon City towards Beavercreek. Also, I'm getting a lot of PMs about the clownfish. Like I stated in the post, these were all purchased at the same time from the same clutch and they are mix of regular b&w, one all white, one single headband, one domino single dot and a snowflake looking one. There is not a dominant pair yet but there are several competing to be the female and a few that are being chased off so I cannot guarantee any will become a pair or that any that you purchase will not fight. There will be better combinations that might work that I would be happy to suggest.

I'm really sorry that happened to you. I don't think I've ever seen him before but I'll be sure to keep an eye open from now on.

What lighting are you using? Many years ago I had one under 10-14k halides that was bright yellow. Could it be possible that they don't get that intense yellow color under bluer leds?

I have a Spectrapure Max Cap 180 gpd ro/di system that is having a strange issue concerning the final tds of the water. Water entering the system is around 45 tds, post ro membrane it is registering zero tds, also zero tds after first di cartride but 5 tds after final polishing di cartridge. This lasts for about 5 minutes as it will eventually lower to zero tds. I recently changed both the sediment and carbon block and the mega max cap di cartridges are about a year old but have very little use and very low tds that has passed through them. I can't figure out how zero tds entering it could raise up to 5 tds while it is not in use. It's very similar to the membrane tds creep that eventually lowers as water flows through it. I've switched the tds meter probes around and it stays the same. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas? Thanks.

I do have the 400w single pendant with the big hood and a radium 20k bulb. Likely cover all of your 24”x 24” tank. Not pretty but gets the job done.
I got it on a frag trade, so if you want to do a trade for it also that would work. Located in Vancouver WA
That's a bit bigger than I'm looking for but I will definitely keep you in mind if I can't find something a little smaller. Thanks.

Bumping back up to see if anyone has either a single or double ended pendant laying around.

The tank is a 24"x24"x20"cube, 50 gallons. I know what you mean by "where the hell is the light going", that's what I said about my Aquamedic space light. I was getting less than 100 Par on the sand bed and barely 150 higher in the tank. That's not very good considering that the M80 ballast is pulling 330 watts. I am considering the Reef Brite pendants but was hoping to find something used and less expensive to make sure that I even want to run with MH.
-
I've sourced a 250w select-a-watt ballast but I am still looking for just the right pendant style reflector to go with it. Thanks for everyone's suggestions so far and those that are answering my PMs. I just wish I would have held on to all my older MH equipment that I have used over the years.

Time to get back in line please.
