  1. How long has your water been cloudy and how cloudy are we talking? Can you still see your fish? You could also have a bacteria bloom going on.
  2. I will take the Harlequin. My tank has plenty of food.
  3. Thanks again Jesse!
  4. Cool. I will be over in just a bit.
  5. Nice! You around today?
  6. Anybody in the Vancouver area have a hand held TDS meter I could use to test the water from my new/used rod/di unit? Thanks.
  7. If you look up Golden Basket on Ebay they are local. They have some nice coral and inverts and you dont have to pay shipping if you can get to Tigard to pick up. They are a great seller!
  8. I think I'm gonna have to skip this one after all. My daughter and I are both sick and I don't want to spread it around. Have fun everyone!
  9. Look at the tank and the rock at night with a flashlight. You should be able to see them scurrying around all over.
  10. (laugh).....he kinda has a point though.

    LED article

I went with the tri-color par38 bulb because it included 2 red led's. I don't have any algae in my tank and my glass doesn't get dirty quick. The bulb has twelve led's and 2 are red. The color the bulb puts out is not super blue, which I don't mind.
  12. I think they will end up fish food for the most part. Might be a good steady income though. (laugh) When I had a larger tank and placed an order with reef cleaners, I got a ton of nerites also. Mine laid eggs like crazy but they just stayed on the rock and never developed.
  13. Do you have any nerite snails?
  14. I am putting this back up for sale as several people on other forums have flaked on it. I need to raise some cash for other parts $65 Thanks.
  15. Here is a little more info: http://reefbuilders.com/2012/06/14/belonoperca-pylei-america/ Looks like this is one of three to ever be collected. Kinda cool but (nutty)
  16. Thanks for the responses. Just trying to get one used so it's a little cheaper. I have a few pm's so I think I am good to go.
  17. I got the heater but could really use a Di canister to add to my ro unit.
  18. Looking to buy a DI add on canister for an RO unit? Thanks!
  19. So are you going to start this tomorrow or next Tuesday?
  20. I don't know how quickly you want to set this up but I am going to be moving my 10g contents into a 40. I will have a tri-color par38 and my filter for sale. I could ship them to you but it would be a week or two. Here is what I have: http://www.current-usa.com/files/SubCurrent8026Manual.pdf http://ledtric.myshopify.com/collections/par38-reeflamps/products/ledtric-par38-tri-color-18w-reeflamp
  21. With what you have there and small frequent water changes you are all set. The type of corals you can keep will be dependent on what kind of light he gave you. I use a Tunze 6015 pump and a surface skimming in tank filter made by current in my 10g. Led par38 bulbs are a very economical solution for lighting and allow you to keep most any coral. I would also get some sort of auto top off. In small tanks water evaporation is huge and will throw your levels off quickly. 1 or 2 small fish is about the max in a 10g. I have a Damsel and a very small high fin goby. Post some pics when you get a chance.
