Is the hair algae short and matted to the rock or long and soft. I have the short matted. I took a piece of rock to seahorse today and was told its turf algae and the only way to get rid of it was to dry the rock. Woody said nothing will eat it. I bought rock from a local pet store when I started my tank that was covered in it I tried everything to get rid of it and nothing worked.

My two cents worth: for a long time Woody was the only one of the lfs's that would talk to me unless I was willing to buy some set-up right then and there. I probably wouldn't have gotten into it without his help. I agree about the bad local though. Never seen ich on his fish and his corals all looked fine.

They have it on channel 6 also between 5:00 and 5:30.Really nicely done.
