i dont know species. red plants. pink plants. green plants that turn red. green plants with purple under the leaves. ground covering plants. grass plants.

i am about to prune my 30 gallon freshwater tank. with co2 and fertilizer my plants are taking over. id rather not throw them away, but i usually have to.

if you want some bundles of plants, PM me. ill be pruning this afternoon and keep the cuttings in a bucket for 24 hours before discarding.

the kent calcium reactor, as far as i know, has a broken nipple for the effluent out of the reactor.

this is an edsal 5 shelf heavy duty steel shelving unit. 48 wide x 24 deep x 72 tall. holds 4000 lbs.

anyone ever used anything like this to hold up multiple aquariums?

i plan on having tanks on three of the five shelves. two 40 breeders and a 50 gallon.

i have seen fish stores use similar set ups. even with the particle board totally swollen and decayed under the aquariums, still holding up well.

thoughts?

i havent seen a bullseye pair with a fish. they tend to live in your rockwork...and use your snails for snacks. they sure make loud popping noises too.

i found the series opener to be pretty snooze worthy...until the last ten minutes. i realize the premiere is supposed to set up the story for the season but....it was pretty tame. lets pick it up, bill compton!

mike id be interested in seeing your blue polyp cap if you have any pictures....

here is a top down shot of the three cap montis i currently have plenty of. this is probably going to be the clearest shot of the pink polyp cap i have.

here is a side view. showing the ruffled growth of the purple rim green cap (which is really purple, camera just isnt picking up representative colors)

and an awful picture of the pink polyp. squint your eyes. youll...get a taste of it.

Anyone have any interest in some 400w 20k XM bulbs? all were used about 10 months.

these still produce great color and could be used for frag grow out tanks or even display tanks for several more months.

$20 a bulb or trade for frags.

I am looking for different varieties of plating montipora. I currently have:

Orange cap

Pink polyp cap

Green with purple rim cap

Purple cap

If there are any other varieties that someone has willing to frag, I would like them!

Leng cap would be nice, as are any sweet colors I may not have even heard of or seen before!
