  1. People need to realize that all roses aren't the same and all carpets aren't the same. The cheap roses you are seeing come from the south China sea which is actually cooler water. They are flooding the market with these cheap roses. They cannot be compared to the real ones that come from Indonesia or the ones some customers bring in. True Indo roses should cost from $100 to $150 depending on color and size. The china sea roses don't do that well in tanks because they prefer cooler water. As far as carpets go they can range from $30 to $500 depending on color and species. You really can't lump them all together. Carpets do not ship well at all, I would say half are DOA and of the ones that make it alive I would say half of those die before they are sold. There is a very high mortality rate in anemones which in some way drives the price up for the healthy ones. Also it is always nice to be able to see what you are buying before you buy it. My Two cents Travis
  2. I am using the coral vitalizer, amino acid hc, and potassium iodide.
  3. Hey Rich, after trying Zeo products in my tanks I decided not to carry them. I personaly don't thing they are any better than what i had been using. I believe heavily in the Zeo philosophy but feel there products are not necessary to get the same results. I can get the products for you if you would like. It would be the same price as Eric without having to pay freight. Let me know Travis

    Heat

Yea, we have Ac and it is still getting up to 85 in here. Need a bigger unit. I feel for you Joel. I hate summer. Bring on 50 and rain. I'll take that any day over this heat. Travis
  6. (scary) Mellowwwwwwww. Most likely if you have brown algae your levels are not perfect. You have an excess of some type of nutrient. Algaerequire light and nutrient to grow, without one or the other it will not grow. Test your silicates and phosphates. If you think they are zero bring me a water sample and I will check on my colorometer and see what they really are. If you want some help. Travis
  7. I sold out of the large ones, I do have the mini's in stock which are like 16"x16". I could have a large one by the end of the week.
  8. We try to dip all incoming pieces. But we don't always the time. I treat with interceptor every couple months for bugs. With the acro flatworms prevention is the best treatment, Once they are in the main system they are tough to get rid of. So I would recommend you dip your corals before placing in your tank just to be safe.
  9. Now in stock. This is the best dip out there for yor new sps. One of the few things that kills acro eating flatworms.
  10. We got the lumenarc III in stock. These are the best reflectors out there. Buy the real deal not the imitator(lumenmax).
  11. I have two rose skunks coming tomorrow(rock2)
  12. Everything looks pretty brown to me.(scratch)
  13. An overnight box to Bend is only about $25. Not to bad.
  14. Have you tried novus two and three yet? If the scratches are to much for novus Three I would try to sell them a new tank. Any time you remove large scratches with micromesh you are removing material which is going to cause distortion when looking in the tank.
  15. Corals are in. Amazing pieces. Some of the best stuff I have seen. Sorry no picks. Taking a day off. Travis
  16. I am receiving a decent size piece of true superman on Tuesday. I should have about ten frags of it available for sale on Friday. They will range from from $60-$80 depending on size. This one is HOT! A must have if you want to be cool.
  17. Will be receiving Bali Acropora Monday. Should be back from the Airport around 11:00. Should be some nice stuff. Travis
  18. Yea, I was on the fence of whether I even wanted to sell it, I guess I have to sell stuff every now and then, can't keep it all. It was the nicest dendro I have ever seen by far. Travis
  19. Yes, the goldens are very small, I would say 1 1/2". Nice colors also. Travis
