impur
Just wondering if someone has a site that has good deals on this type of computer case. My desktop won't boot, so i figured i'd build a new one. I really like the look of this case: But $150 is getting up there for just a case. This computer will be mostly a gaming computer in my party room. It will be hooked up to a 32" Toshiba LCD. I would like it to have small footprint but still look cool.

Jay
Just wondering if someone has a site that has good deals on this type of computer case. My desktop won't boot, so i figured i'd build a new one. I really like the look of this case: But $150 is getting up there for just a case. This computer will be mostly a gaming computer in my party room. It will be hooked up to a 32" Toshiba LCD. I would like it to have small footprint but still look cool. I saw this case at Frys in wilsonville a few months ago when I built my new pc. It looks kinda cool but I still wint with the Raidmax Dirk-tooth case. This is a nice case at a good price. Its not really cheap like some. Has a nice 550 watt powersupply that cames with it. Which is a bonus as most quality cases the powersupply comes seperate. I was looking for a httpc and chose the asus m3a78-em motherboard and a quad core phenom processor. I like the motherboard. Nice features and has excelent high def onboard ati video. Even has a hdmi out for the big screen 1080p....which I dont have yet. It also has opticle out for the sound which I have going into my sony audio/video control center/amplifier. Its 500 watts with my 2 tall pioneer cs-g9001 speakers that I had refoamed they sound excellent. I am somewhat becomming a audiophile. Let me know if I can help you with your pc related hardware purchases. I worked as a technician for 7 years when I was in moses lake. I have assembled and installed thousands of computers. Knowing what motherboard to buy will make with what is out at the time requires research and I pretty much stay up on it. Jay
impur
Remember how much they wanted for it there? Thanks for the offer i'll take you up on it if need be. This will be my 5th or 6th computer that i've built so I know what i'm doing. I have ideas in my head how I want this one to go so i'll probably take my time acquiring equipment for it. My plan is to put this computer on a small stand below my tv which is mounted on the wall. I already have a wireless keyboard and mouse. We have a futon in this room that sits across the room from where the TV is mounted and i'll have an arm that swings over your lap to use the mouse/keyboard if need be. I'll try to use some of the stuff from my current computer. But i imagine i'll need a new MB and graphics card along with RAM. Either the MB is fried or the HD died on my current computer. I have another HD in there but its IDE and i'm thinking of going SATA this time around. Luckily a lot of MBs have 1 IDE connection still. andy
SATA is soooo worth it, and drives are crazy-cheap... like $100 for 1TB o.O

impur
I probably won't do that, if this computer was in my living room or something i would. I nicknamed this room The World of Warcraft and it stuck thats how all my friends know this room (laugh) even though i don't play that game anymore. I have foosball in there, a dart board, and a beer fridge (drinking)
