JManrow
Sounds like a defective bulb. I would take it back to where I bought it for a replacement.

JManrow
I would still call the number to at least sound off. It's toll-free, and they may possibly help you with it all. Good thing it burned out on the 59th day using it, eh?
jason7504
haha yeah but does that mean 60 days from using it or from buying it?
JManrow
I guess that depends on how much they trust you.
CA2OR
sorry to hear man. I just recently encountered an issue I have never had before with my MH, I added a new fish and when I did it flicked water up and it hit the UV shield for my MH....can you say CRACK!!!!. Went down to Seahorse and Isaac hooked me up. You could try him.

pledosophy
5 days is a stretch. Could go either way on that one. Depends on the corals and there overall health IMO.
JManrow
Make a post in the Emergency Forum http://www.pnwmas.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=45 asking to borrow a MH lightbulb. Many people change their bulbs frequently and I'm sure would have older bulbs laying around. Ask some of the LFS too. Don't be afraid to ask! Nyles
Did you call DRSF? I have always had great luck with them, they have never questioned a return or swap. Matter of fact last issue I had they just shipped another without even asking for old equipment back, in the box they gave me a return label for the old as well. Worked out great.
