Michael7979 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I did not get in on the frag buy but still had a great time! Meet a lot of new people. Quote
Chief Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Here are my Frags. I had the luck of Curtis Coker. I drew first pick on both frags. Jay Quote
impur Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Just took these with the aquascope. Love my new toy! Actinics only but mine look great Took these yesterday for fun Quote
R-3 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Yeah that Aqua scope rocks! I will get some pics later. 1 Quote
CA2OR Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Is there some sort of determination between the meets with and without raffles? What is an aquascope? Quote
impur Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I donno we just wanted to frag some corals for a group of ppl, so we set it up. I'm sure you could organize something similar anytime. Breefcase makes the aquascope. Its a ABS coupling with a magnified glass on one end. Allows you to look down from the top and eliminate looking thru the low iron glass tank which filters out colors. CA2OR Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 so I should talk to breefcase and see what he is selling them for. Thank you for your help impur. Quote
andy Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I saw Lowman's this afternoon -- very cool. Quote
tidalsculpin Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 I have not had a chance to take pics of my acans yest but both are doing fine. The larger deep red one is opening up nicely. The first frag was looking great the next day. I'll try to add pics tomorrow. It's a grading day and I have some time. I am pretty caught up on grades for once. lol Quote
impur Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Mine are doing really well too. Even the tiny little pieces of flesh that got cut are inflated and looking good. I can't wait till they turn into new polyps. Here is a pic of mine from a few days ago. You can see one of the frags is the first on the left in the front row, the other is the 3rd from the left in the front row Quote
reefboy Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 we need to do another one and I will bring my band saw maybe we can get this worked out for in a month or so? Quote

downhill_biker Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 wow, jody you are getting some good sales here. people are buying them up like crazy. i just dont know how fair this is. i only got these two frags for my $50 contribution? Just kidding, that was great. These pics were from the night of the cutting, and haven't got any new ones yet. Quote
Michael7979 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Hey Jody maybe we can do it here at my house when I hold the meeting in March. Let me know if that might work out for you. Quote
