snowpunk
how long does a washed out coral typically take to color back up? I know all are different so the main washout is a large chunk of orange acan. It used to look like this. and now the hole thing looks like the lightest spots in this shot. All mouths are still nice and orange just not the outside.
stylaster
i had an acan fade out on me (too much light) it took about 3 months to come back to the original color again
impur
You should move that down to less light. It will only continue to bleach IMO. Put it on the sand and start feeding it. That should help.
snowpunk
the color has started to come back a little but not much. You think I should put him in a little cove in the sand where it isn't 100% light or just in the sand under full light? I have started feeding him mysis also. stylaster
I would put him down in the sand not right under the light but off to the side
impur
Yah like stylaster said. Then as it regains color slowly move it out into more light, but keep it on the sand.
