twogirls Posted August 16, 2008 Share Posted August 16, 2008 Ok going to be setting up a 125 with a Dogface. I think jason from coral reef talked me into a bare bottom, what to you think. Also any ideas on tank mates? I know this tank will be messy with the Puffer and it will eat any clean up crew so I guess I need some ideas for that too. badguitarist Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 I also agree, for a very messy fish like that bare bottom will make it easier to keep the mess clean. If you decide on a sandbed I would go with very fine sand as waste wont be able to get stuck in it as easily not to mention I have personally had more than one large predator die from ingesting large grains of sand going after food and having sand get stuck in their intestinal track.
