chorse Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Here are a few pictures of my 100 gallon addiction. I also wanted to remind everyone that this hobby is the sh*t.(rock2) Quote
Barelycuda Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Very nice photo's. So you're one of those bare bottome guys huh :) Dave Quote
Frank Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Very nice job (clap)... Looks loke some of them were hand picked????(laugh)(laugh) I see you need to frag a few thing....(naughty) Quote
chorse Posted July 3, 2008 Author Posted July 3, 2008 The bare bottom reef is the cleanest most efficient way to maintain a tank in my experience. This is my second bare bottom system. For myself I don't think I will use sand again for future systems. Planning for a bare bottom system makes all the difference and high flow is essential. This is sort of like my farm tank for limited editions. I will be making a frag or two. If you want something specifically let me know. Some of the rarest stuff I am keeping on a limited fraging schedule. Quote
stylaster Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 what kind of lighting are you running, pics look very blue?? Quote
chorse Posted July 8, 2008 Author Posted July 8, 2008 The lighting on the tank consists of 1x 400 watt radium 20k and 2x 250 watt radium 20k with 4x 5' VHO actinics. So it definately looks blue. Also I think I need to set the white balance in a different room to get a better color for the photos. Quote
