Andy, if all else fails I will get you another duncan frag. How about one with a few more heads?

Was it open full when you got it? It looks like it should recover. I would put it in a low flow, low light spot until the recession stops. I have some coral dip at the shop I can give you to try if you want. No charge.
  8. No babies here so I don't have much advice. But good luck Eric. Whatever you do don't let him puke on the floor at aquarium shops. This happened in our shop last week. I am still traumatized from the incident.

It sounds like a possible bacterial infection.
  11. Fortunately the city isn't liable if someone gets hurt. This is a recent change however. The liability is the main reason these parks weren't around in the past.
  12. I think it is a great place for kids and adults to get recreation and stay out of trouble. I have been a skateboarder for 17 years now and I think if there had been a place like that I could have progressed faster without the tickets and skateboard confiscations.
  13. I forgot to mention that it is lit all night! What am I doing on the computer? I should be there right now.
  14. I don't think there are to many members that skateboard but if you do or know someone who does you should know about Ed Benedict park on 102nd and Powell. There are many skateparks in the area but this one is the best I have seen yet! The first time I saw it I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
  15. I guess if it has good color it's a hit no matter the species.
  16. The larger proto palys like to get meaty foods. They should show an accelerated growth rate if fed regularly. The smaller zoanthids, parazoanthids, and zoanthus gigantus should grow like weeds without being fed any meaty food. They should however benefit from a filter food like phyto plankton or oyster eggs.
  17. I am just curious what type of corals people prefer to keep? I had to think about this one for quite a while myself. I think for me it's a tie between SPS and LPS. I love to watch the sps grow but I also love the colors and movement that you can get from nice lps. What do you think?
  18. My piece had turned almost solid red on the bottom under 400w radiums in a slightly shaded spot. I have since moved it to a very dim spot and it has regained a grey body color with the red edge. My guess is it was collected in pretty deep water.
  19. If you keep this one in a dim spot it shoud get a grey green base color with a red edge.
  20. Thats an awesome colony Brian!!
  21. It's always nice to chat with you too Travis. I'm drooling just thinking about that carpet lobo. Thanks again for the awesome corals at a great price!
  22. I'll be here until 7pm. You guys are always welcome down here. I look forward to trading with you sometime in the near future.
  23. I checked out Soutas for the first time in quite a while and found 2 awesome frags I didn't have yet. I scored a nice frag of superman digitata and an icey blue stag that is really cool. Thanks Soutas!!
  24. I stopped in at Upscales on my day off and found 2 nice montis I didn't have yet, and a Scolymia that is truely one of a kind. Thanks Upscales!
