reef-fisher
I was gazing at the tank this morning, as the actinics came on. Everything was fine, params in check and the WHAM....My 41/2" foxface got his tail stuck on my carpet anemone(flame). [language filter]! I acted as quickly as I could, but to no avail. I didnt think to grab the camera until it was too late. In about 30 seconds i watched a $50 bill swallow a $30 dollar bill...(sad) I was curious, since the foxface is venemous, will it damage the anemone? What other fish eating stories are out there... And what, if any(I already have two false percs) fish can be kept with this thing? Thanks for lookin...

R-3
Wow how big is the anenome ? Swallowed a 4 1/2" Foxface! Wow! Im not sure about the venomous part honestly. That definitely sucks. Was the Foxface in good health? I would think it wouldn't get caught up maybe if it was. Later Ryan
reef-fisher
Yep. Everyone is healthy. They had peacefully coexisted for over 6 months. The anemone is about the size of a large salad plate. Maybe 10" diameter when expanded and eats 4-5 silversides every few days. The foxface was just swimming around as usuall and the anemone caught its tail fin.
