Some frags for sale

Jay

Recommended Posts

Hello:

I have 2 of these Green Polyp Toadstool corals for sale. One is good size and I am asking 45 for it. I was charging 35 last time and was told by many people that this was much to cheap so I will ask 45 this time. Still half as much as the stores charge I am told. This it twice as big as the earlier frags

Actual picture of the coral for $45

I also have 2 or 3 of these frags from this mother colony. I forget the name of these but they will eat full size mysis shrimp and love bright halides. Grow pretty fast especially when target fed. These are one of my favorite corals. You can stomp your feet next to the tank and they will all close up. Really cool to watch. They are what I will call Toxic glowing green under actinic and nice bright green under normal lighting. They flouress really well. $20

Here is the mother colony

Here is a frag under actinic so you can see how it glows. Sorry for the poor pictures I am asking $20 for a frag

I also have this fast growing Green Cap. It is always growing into the glass and having to be fragged. I will break you off a nice size frag of it for $10

Thanks for looking

Jay

The one that you forget the name to is a Palythoa caesia, and it goes by the common name of crater polyps.

Diver's den price is $70 + shipping. So $20 is a steal! I really enjoy the ones that you gave me last summer.

The green toadstool that I bought from you last go around is doing great. I agree that $45 is a good price for this rare, and nice looking coral.

Hey thanks Dsoz.....I really like those crater polyps. I grew them from a 3-4 polyp frag to the 12-14 inch mass on that rock. They really do pig on mysis and grow fast when you feed them. Also they love direct halide light. When put high in the rock near a light they kind of smash down flat and spill across the rock. This toadstool was fragged at the same time as the others I sold so its about twice as big as it was then.

I really dont think I will be getting anywhere close to eugene anytime soon ahreno. Sorry..make a trip up here and I will throw in a nice green cap frag or one of my other sps frags to make almost worth the drive. Truthfully....it takes a lot to get me to drive in Portland anymore with traffic and fuel prices these days.
