obrien.david.j
Anyone ever tried a Molly Miller Blenny? Interesting article in Reef Builders https://reefbuilders.com/2024/01/29/molly-miller-blenny-is-a-viable-alternative-for-aiptasia-control/

Besides being a possible Aptasia predator, they have a look like it would take a mother to love them.
Rugops
I read that article too. I have heard some cases where individuals go rouge and eat coral but that seems like the case with all other fishes and inverts that are aptasia controllers. Tbh, I would go with something more eye-candyish like the kleini butterfly which is readily available and probably cheaper. Colbymac92
Are those butterfly reef safe? Pretty sure they eat softies
Krux
Older articles (2018ish) about them that I was reading a few months ago said that there are several similar looking species that were making it into the trade and that may be the cause of dramatically different levels of aggression and diet. If Biota has the right ones I would be much more inclined to try one. It also seems they can get 4 or 5 inches long which is quite large for a blenny. I also read they may not play nicely with the standard lawnmower, and I can’t get rid of ole Wilford, we have had him for several years and my wife would miss those eyebrows… Would love some recent feedback if anyone scores one.
