Pippen
Hey all! I’m trying to navigate this world of saltwater tanks and it’s sort of throwing me through the ringer. do any of you have suggestions on good beginner corals, stocking ideas? I have two clowns,(the maroon one is getting rehomed) firefish, a filefish, some crabs and a few anemones. Just want to get it down so I don’t throw my money away. thanks! reefrun
I always start with a cheap hardy zoa and if you want did I always start with a green birdsnest As a newbie, I highly recommend watching the BRS YouTube videos

I don’t know all the lingo yet. 😕
Emerald525
Welcome ! Softy corals are the hardiest. I recommend sinularia , green star polyps but keep it on a separate rock away from other rocks or it will overgrow your tank, zoas like reefrun mentioned like radioactive dragon eyes , mushrooms are also pretty easy 😀

Kerbash
I think one more on the list is Kenya Tree. A really nice coral thats also pretty easy is the blue cespitularia, if you are in the Puget Sound area hook me up, I got so much Xenia, Kenya tree I can give them up for free lol.
