spipedong
This thing came on a piece of live rock I picked up and I thought it was just a dead skeleton... Tonight I noticed it was starting to grow flesh and sort of inflate. I cant tell what its going to be but its kind of exciting that its doing something... There's some gross junk on it but I'll take the turkey baster to it tomorrow. Anyone have thoughts? Bubble coral maybe?

spipedong
I'm thinking it's probably a brain of some sort, the more I look at it.

WAVES
what did the skeleton look like?
spipedong
The skeleton was kind of a figure 8 shape, and when I first got it, there was fluorescent green inside the skeleton itself, but now I've got the fleshy growth instead. WAVES
Sounds like trachyphyllia, wellsophyllia, or lobophyllia. maybe google search skeleton images.
reefboy
If you can see feeder tenticles try feeding mysiss or cyclo-peez will help in healing and growth should have a pretty good idea what it is within a few months with feedings.
