SuncrestReef Posted December 9, 2019 Share Posted December 9, 2019 I always keep a brick of MarinePure or other ceramic media in my sump and then transfer it to my QT tank. This makes it easier to maintain the QT tank and reduces the risk of introducing pests into the QT, plus it makes it impossible for a fish to hide inside a rock if I need to observe it, treat it or catch it.
