pdxmonkeyboy
A couple weeks ago i noticed a small slit in my clam.. not the typical round port that is on the opposite side of the mantle. Then it started to look like a tear.. hmmm, i googled it and didnt come up with much so based on the fact that he was opening and closing and looking fine i basically ignored it. Last night however... holly cow.. the tear is almost half.of the length of the mantle? I have not seen anyone nipping at him (or her).. i will try and post a picture latter. Any suggestions? stylaster
not much you can really do, provide a low flow area and if you can qt even better so there are no fish or inverts that will bother it Hopefully it will heal on its own. Pic would help for sure, also what species is it?
